SCENE 1 ACT 1: Marshpaw's POV

Marshpaw exited the apprentice den, ready for an early morning start.

Narrator: The tom had a rather strange dream last night full of butterflies, moths, and blue seas. Ah, but it didn't matter now. He didn't pay much attention to the dream, and it faded away as soon as he awoke.

Marshpaw breathed in the cool, chilly air. His short coat didn't protect him any from leaffall or leafbare. He looked around for someone to chat with before heading to the prey pile. As he did, he yawned. "Beautiful morning..." He said under his breath as he stretched and then grabbed a mouse. Yes, it was a beautiful morning indeed.

Bluepaw followed Marshpaw.
"Do you hear that?" she muttered.

Narrator: Bluepaw never seemed interested in random voices, until now. She had followed Marshaw but didn't leave behind her off sense of presence.
