Rising curiosity [pika//open]

The day was calm and silent and a small kit had shifted in the nursery thirsting for adventure. He reached the age where kits were the most annoying, always sticking their head into things and manners that had never meant for them to be in. Sagekit's ear flicked there was hardly any kits in the nursery skyclan was always one of the smaller clans but he enjoyed it that way. Laying on his back as he gazed at the roof of the nursery Sagekit rolled onto his paws as he heard cats chattering outside of it, the voices peaking his interest. Slowly trudging forward Sagekit's head slightly tilted unsure if he should venture out yet but his drive for adventure had made him take his first steps outside of the nursery. Sagekit blinked clearly shocked by everything that was happening, cats were everywhere doing different tasks such as chatting, grooming, sleeping almost everything it was strange. Sagekit craned his head over towards some cat in the distance his tail swaying softly. "H-hi!"

OOC: BTW Deerpaw is his brother since Rabbitwhisker is Deerpaw's dad too :)

IC: With great effort, he somehow managed to heave himself to his heavy paws. He felt exhausted, but no one really seemed to notice, seeing how calm and collected the tom was. He sat up into a sitting position, and started grooming his matted fur. He kept stopping occasionally to yawn or take in a huge gulp of fresh air, but it was just boring. B-o-r-i-n-g. Sticking out his tounge which had fur, dirt and grime all over it, he simply shook his head and pulled it back into his dry mouth. He decided to take some prey, when he heard a tiny, high pitched voice. "H-hi!" The voice sounded so much like his kitten voice. 

He picked up a pump rabbit, then headed over to the kit with pleasure. "Hi!" He said gently, before tucking into his rabbit. "Want some?" He asked kindly, nudging the food closer to his (adopted?) brother.

Rabbitwhisker, who had been quite busy since there were so few warriors in SkyClan, came over to the sight of his son interacting with little Sagekit. While he had some concerns about adopting the kit at first, with so few she-cats about and every warrior needed for duties, he had taken on this role. After all, having raised three kits alone, he was the most experienced, unfortunately. It touched his heart to see Deerpaw embrace this new addition and to be friendly. So he encouraged this with a welcoming purr as he trotted over carrying with him a pigeon he planned on devouring.

"Deerpaw, Sagekit. Got some time to share a meal with your old father?" He joked around the pigeon, flicking Deerpaw lightly on the head with his tail as greeting.

ic; Sagekit blinked as someone had approached him with food, he wasn't so sure on taking it but the older cat seemed so friendly and welcoming he couldn't resist. His ear had flickered as he took a glance at the rabbit lowering his head to take a quick sniff, completely clueless. Glancing back over towards Deerpaw the tom looked at him clearly confused. "What is this?" He mewed the toms ears perked when he saw someone fimilaar in the distance, his rolemodel and his father; Rabbitwhisker.

Sitting with his back straight the tom had watched him approach a small purr and a glint in his eyes were all the clues that Rabbitwhisker needed to know that he was happy to see him. "of corse!"
