Smoke in the camp(open)

Smokekit padded out of the nursery. He was glad to be rid of his mother, Swirlspirits, licks and lectures on the outside world. He was feeling smothered. Even though he was to young to remember somehow he knew that she treated him differently than her other kits. he was only five moons old, but he felt as if she paid him more attention than his older siblings, Bluepaw, and Roaringpaw. The dark charcoal colored kit blinked his bright blue eyes. He had noticed that he didn't look like his parents, Goldenflame and Swirlspirit, Goldenflame was a yellow tabby with calico markings on his face, and Swirlspirit well she had swirls all over her, Smokekit was just plain boring dark charcoal grey.

Bluepaw stalked into camp carrying two birds. She was still getting over her fight with the elder Specklefur. She dropped her prey on the pile and glared at the elders den. Then she turned to see Smokekit.

Smokekit sighed glumly, and sat down. Staring at the ground he couldn't believe he was the only kit in the camp right now, it was boring!

Bluepaw padded over to her brother and sat in front of him. She tried to lighten up but she was still upset.
"Hey Smokekit," Bluepaw mewed trying to keep her voice warmhearted. She quickly groomed her blue-gray fur and then turned her attention to her younger sibling.

"Oh hey Bluepaw." Smokekit meowed to his sister, and looked up.

Bluepaw looked at Smokekit with icy blue eyes.
"How are you?" She asked.

"I'm fine I guess. I don't really have anything to do.." The gray tom meowed with boredom. But seeing his sister was upset he decided to know why. "Whats wrong Bluepaw?"

Bluepaw sighed.
"Specklefur and Echostrike," Bluepaw mewed.

"What did they do?" Smokekit meowed getting angry at the warrior and the elder.

"Specklefur yelled at me for carrying back a scrawny squirrel, We got into a fight then," Bluepaw mumbled.
"Then Echostrike came in and got mad so she bowled me over."

"That's no way to treat a cat!! Especially not my sister!!" The charcoal tom jumped up getting angry. "Hey i haven't seen Roaringpaw in a while where is he?"

Bluepaw looked around, expecting her brother to stroll into camp. Suddenly, concern and worry washed over her gaze.
"I don't know," she mewed," I assumed he was out training..."
Then again... He wasn't in his nest last night....

"I wonder where he is.." Smokekit meowed getting worried about his brother.

Bluepaw gazed at the entrance.
"He wasn't in the den last night.." Bluepaw felt alarm creeping through her fur.

"What!! How can that be!! Wee have to tell Mommy and Daddy!!" Smokekit meowed alarmed. He looked frantically around for his parents.
