New Life {Closed for Cedarfur & Mistkit}

Leafsnap let out a gasp. It was time. She told Cedarfur two moons ago when she moved into the nursery. It was time for her kitting. "Cedarfur!" She screeched.

Cedarfur was bored out of his mind sitting around camp when he heard his mate's screech. "Leafsnap?!" he meowed running towards the sound. He found her laying on the floor, her belly swollen. Cedarpaw was filled with joy, but also fear. Will Leafsnap kit successfully? Oh course she will, Leafsnap is strong! The tall tom shook his thoughts away."I'll fetch Gorsefeather!" He gave his mate a nuzzle on the cheek and dashed of towards the medicine cat den.

OOC- if Chu doesnt reply by tomorrow, no MC.

IC- Leafsnap was so glad her mate was there. "Please... Hurry..."

Ooc2: Short

OOC: No MC, then. Uh... Bump?

IC: Leafsnap continued to wail. Cedarfur, there's no time! Just... Ow..." She sobbed.

Ooc- sorry for oc, but does this have to be in the camp? Cause if we dont have an MC cat, then it makes sense if we were on a stroll out of camp? XD also is she only having 1 kit? jw

Cedarfur turned around, trying not to panic. He took a deep breath, the ran back to Leafsnap trying to remember what he had heard about kitting. "Ok, lets see. Take deep breaths." he said trying to calm her down. Cedarfur grabbed a thick stick lying next to him and pushed it towards his mates jaw. "Uh, clamp down hard on this." Ug! I can't remember what herbs I should give her... he looked down at her, trying to think fast.

Leafsnap, with tears in her eyes. Grabbing down on it, she hissed as the contractions came. The kit was coming. And fast!

The kit had come and mewed a very feeble mew.

Leafsnap snapped the stick as the kit came. One, tiny kitten. She purred. Though there was still pain, she was taken over as she saw the kitten. She gently pushed her closer to her belly so she could drink. "What will her name be?" She asked Cedarfur.

Cedarfur was filled with overwelming joy, he thought for a moment when asked the question. "Mistkit." he said proudly.

Mistkit drank her mother's milk unaware of what was happening around her.
