Goldenpaw's and Swirlpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Fawnwillow padded into the clearing pleased, My first apprentice becoming a warrior! The moons of sadness had somewhat lifted as she searched for her apprentice with pride. Thinking back to all the fun times they had in training.

Goldenpaw stepped out of the den on shaky paws, the tired apprentice clumsily sitting down next to Fawnwillow, his mentor. His ears perked up by the call of his leader. What's going on? This couldn't be my ceremony, could it?

OOC: Feel better! Also, his name will be Goldenflame, jsyk

Fawnwillow checked Goldenpaw's pelt like any mom cat would, satisfied he was clean she nudged him up front. "It's your ceremony mousebrain! Go on!" She purred approvingly.

Swirlpaw padded from the apprentices den quietly. She flicked her tail quietly her cream and ginger fur groom neatly as she quietly sat down.

"Goldenpaw, Swirlpaw, please step forward." Once they stepped forward she continued. "I, Spottedstar, leader of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Goldenpaw, Swirlpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your lives?"

Swirlpaw blinked the smiled and mewed proudly"i do"she mewed.

Cloverpool padded out of the nursery, ok more like waddled out. She saw Fawnwillow check her son to make sure he was groomed and hen nudged him forward. She smiled and sat next to the younger warrior. Purring she gave her a flick of her tail full of gratefulness.

Minnowpaw padded after her mother and sat next to her. She was slightly jealous of her brother but was mostly happy for him.

"I do." Were the two words that actually meant something, something that would change the tabby's life forever. And, they rolled off the tongue!

"Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior names. Goldenpaw, from now on you shall be Goldenflame. Starclan honors your bravery and patience, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan." she jumped down, touching her nose to his forehead and then continuing in front of the she-cat, Swirlpaw. She had been through a lot, and she wondered if she knew of her mother yet, and if it was the right time to tell her. "Swirlpaw, from now on you shall be Swirlspirit." she paused slightly, wondering if she made the right choice. Her mother was brave, even if she did make the wrong choice. But no mother could ever regret having kits. "Starclan honors your courage and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan." she touched her nose to the she-cats forehead.

Swirlspirit blinked before she smiled some at her new name. She remained quiet as she watched the leader came over to her and press her nose on her forehead. She was quiet for a moment. She liked her warrior name though still had no clue about her mother. The cream and ginger she cat flicked her tail before looking to her leader.

The new warrior puffed out his chest with pride, a happy sensation washing over him.

Fawnwillow rushed for to her former apprentice's side, her purrs almost drowning out her soft voice. "It was an honor to train you as my first apprentice Goldenflame, I'm very proud." Her leaf green eyes were kit-like again and filled with joy as her thick brown tail curled with pleasure.
