Moonlight leaned over the river the very same one that had killed his uncle and scooped out a fish he killed it with a swift bite to its neck. He sat next to it and waited for his mate Salmonstripe to come. He groomed his pelt and sat there his white fur turning the same silver color as his paws and tail tip. Hoi multicolored pale ice blue eye and light green eyes searched the reeds for his beloved Salmonstripe. When he heard paws steps he turned his gaze towards them. "Hello my beloved Salmonstripe. I have some news for you." He purred to her as she came out of the reeds.

"What's that?" Salmonstripe shook her short-length pelt free from pollen and such.

He purred and licked her on the cheek. "Im finally a medicine cat now." He twined his tail with hers.

"Really? That's... Terrific, Moonlight! I'm so proud of you," she purred, giving her mate a bath of gentle licks.

Moonlight purred. "Yep now we can be official mates." He gently lick her between the ears rymthmically.
