Heatherpaw and Stonepaw's warrior ceremony

The night was lit with stars that clung too the sky.

It had looked like a black river with frozen ice-chips, Rockfall had took it as a sign that winter was on it's way. Before that he had too make as many warriors as he could for Skyclan the population was declining and they werent big as the other clans it had always worried the tom. Breezestar was once again busy and Rockfall was left too deal with a warrior's ceremony not that he was unhappy having another warrior sleeping in the same den as him was a great sign and gave the deputy more hope. Rockfall had leaped onto the tall-branch swaying on it as he tried too catch his balance. Amber eyes shined as he sat there silently for a few moments observing their campsite.. finally he had called together the clan for the meeting. "Let all cats old enough too catch prey gather here underneath the tall branch!"

Light, olive green eyes peered out of the apprentice's den, bright with anitipation. It was finally time for Heatherpaw to move on with her life, and into the life of a warrior. The pixiebob exited the den, her stub tail wagging expectantly.

She had a slight discomfort knowing her brother wasn't with her to earn his name. His disappearance was quick and unexpected, but the she-cat would not let her loss cloud her loyalty and hard work. The brown tabby padded up to branch and took a seat, looking up at Rockfall.

Stonepaw stumbled out ungraciously but none-the-less regained her balance and padded to take a seat below the tall-branch. In her training and constant practice Stonepaw had managed to regain her balance with half of the tail she had left, peering over at Heatherpaw she gave a soft and almost soundless snort before turning back to look up at Rockfall some-what nervously. Stonepaw had been trying to work past her nervous and anxiety-riddled bits of her personality to the ideal confident warrior, but it was very hard with what happened in the fire.

Rockfall had glanced over towards the two apprentice's both of them had been through hard times. Heatherpaw had recently lost her brother and Stonepaw lost her tail in the large fire they had also lost many lives. The deputy stood silent for a moment before speaking looking intently at both of the apprentices. Heatherpaw. Stonepaw. You have trained too learn the ways of the warrior and now you are ready too advance, would you defend your clan even at the cost of your own life?"

Heatherpaw nodded at the other short tailed she-cat before turning attention back to the deputy. She took a small stepped forward and puffed out her chest. "I do," she meowed proudly.

"I do!" Mewled Stonepaw, her own voice quivered just slightly with many reasons as to why it did. Feeling a bit scrutinized under the deputies eyes she tried to hold back a shudder, pawing at her own paws she gave a little scan of the area to see if her friend was there. Orcaheart was not, she was going to have to find her nest and sit in it and tell her why she was disappointed in her. She was there for her ceremony!

Rockfall let out a purr of ammusement before he had nodded and straightened up some sort of gleam showing in his amber eyes. "From now on you will be known as Stonestep and Heatherfang congratulations."

Heatherfang. It was a very respectable name. It was strong, independent, and fearsome. But it also had a sort of flow to it, it rolled right off the tongue. The she-cat smirked and bowed her head in respect to the deputy. "Thank you, Rockfall," she meowed about the growing cheer.
