Training My Sons (CLOSED FOR DEW AND ICE)

Ooc- ya that'd be cool. Ok after this we wait for Toy?

Ic- Troutpaw batted his brother with his white paw and then lay there silently enjoying the grass that tickled his paws but felt good on his fur. He then remebered the training but didn't really want to get up.

Salmonstripe burst out in laughter as her sons pushed eachother and tumbled into the river. "I'm glad to see yourselves playing! Yet, this is training. C'mon; theres alot more to do!"

"Of course, sorry." Troutpaw forced himself up and put a more serious look on his face.

Whitepaw followed in his brother's lead, only a little smirk left on his face.

Salmonstripe led her sons to a shady place with trees hanging lowly overhead, leaves falling silentky to the hard earth. Birds smells drifted up her nose. "Perfect. Now, we put your hunting skills to the test. Go find 2 pieces of prey and come back. Go!"

"Uh, ok." Troutpaw dashed off. He figured that it would be easier to smell prey without his family's scent around. Wait, does she want me to catch fish or birds? He trotted over to the stream and used the information Salmonstripe gave him. After a few moments he caught a plump fish. Maybe I'll catch a fish and a bird. He tried to scout out a bird on the ground.

OOC- This counts as a patrol right? Cause if it does than all I need is an assessment.

OOC: It does, but if you don't want it to Im making a patrol tommorow.. jsyk. And, lets wait for Dew

Whitepaw flicked his tail as a symbol of he understood his task, stalking through the reeds he caught the musky scent of mouse. How rare, they don't normally come around here. Pouncing and killing the creature he wrinkled his nose at the taste of it in his mouth. He wasn't accustomed to mouse. Carrying his catch to a nearby stunted tree. One of the few in Riverclan's territory, his quick amber eyes caught the sight of a bright red bird lazily pecking at the tree. Wiggling his rump and sliding out his claws he heaved himself up clumsily, determined to make the catch.

Waiting patiwntly, Salmonstripe decieded to unt her own prey. Quickly scenting a mouse and a bird, and caught the flapping bird and chased the mouse. She trotted back to the clearing with the mouse and the bird, still waiting for her sons.
