Flames trotted into the large empty clearing. He awaited for the presence of Meadow and Storm, his apprentices. Since Olive's and Sandy's death, it had been hard for the BoneClan leader. He cried everyday, full of grief that he hadn't been able to save them. But, now this was training; not a time to think about sad things!

Storm walked towards the scent of his father blindly, his thoughts consuming him with Meadow's brother, How she acted with Miles, and Olives death. His shoulders sagged and his tail dragged on the ground.

Meadow burst out of the bushes. "Sorry I'm late!" she gasped. "I was trying to finish a rat really quick, but a bone got stuck in my throat, so Orbit had to get it out." Then the cream she-rogue spotted Storm, and she held back a purr so that she would not be embarrassed in front of Flames.
