Expecting

It's been several weeks since Cloverpools warrior ceremony and several days since she found out she expecting Sunpelts kits. Today was the day that she would tell him that she was expecting. She sought out her mate as she scanned the camp. When she saw him she padded over to him and sat next to him and twined her tail with his. "I have something important to tell you." She purred a little nervous.

Sunpelt jumped at his mate's sudden appearance. Then he relaxed. "Hello, Cloverpool," he purred. He licked her cheek. "What is it?" The yellow tabby recognized a nervous look on Cloverpool's face, and he felt a bit concerned.

"Well.. Sunpelt I'm expecting kits!" Cloverpool meowed relived that she had told him. She twined her tail with his and gave his cheek a lick.

Sunpelt stared in delight. "Really?" he whispered. "That's brilliant!" He licked Cloverpool on the ear a few times. "We need to talk about this... alone."

Cloverpool nodded. "Of course. When the kits do come it'll be wonderful. Nightfire, Summitpaw, and Silkcloud are the only other cats who know besides you." She purred and nuzzled her mate.

OOC:if we just have Cloverpool and Sunpelt have two kits and the other three are stillborn if can't find any other kits would that work?

Sunpelt closed his eyes, relishing the warmth and comfort of his mate. "I love you too, Cloverpool," he murmured. "I love you more than anything else in the world."

OOC: Nah, I don't think that'd work. Because my cat Meadow, previously Meadowpaw, was born with only one other kit (Summitpaw, your cat). And I don't want Sun+Clover to have unhealthy kits. So lets just have two, and then Clover will have another litter sometime else.
