Mousepaw's Border Patrol

Thrushstar padded into the apprentice's den. "Mousepaw, it's time for training!"

The blind apprentice padded out of her den. "Hello, Thrushstar. What training are we doing today? She asked, excitedly.

"It's time for a border patrol!" He said. "Follow." Without saying another word but making sure she could still follow, he walked out of camp and waited for her to reach him.

The blind apprentice nodded, and followed Thrushstar. "I love border patrols." She commented, a cheerful smile rose onto her face.

OOC: I hope you don't mind if I kind of rush through this cx It still counts as a patrol, but I just want to try to breeze through your training so you can get to warrior faster~

When they reached the first border, Thrushstar stopped and looked through the bushes that lined the Thunderpath. "Here is our first stop. This is the Thunderpath. Even without sight, it is very hard to miss. That stench you smell comes from monsters that cross this path with amazing speed. If you can feel it, the path is very hard underneath your paws and during Greenleaf, it gets very hot. However, I believe you know this already."

OOC: Yeah, sorry I didn't post sooner. I was at a sleepover last minute, so I couldn't make a member announcement.

IC: Mousepaw nodded, grief flooding through her when she thought about the incident with Shadepaw.

After quickly marking the territory, Thrushstar started for the next border. "Come," he said simply before padding towards Highpine. When they reached their destination, he stopped. "Here is our next border. This is Highpine. We share this border with Skyclan. It's not a border we have to worry about often, but it has the same rules. If someone ever crosses it that's not supposed to, you run them back into their own territory."

Mousepaw nodded. "I think you're great at this." she purred, nodding to everything Thrushstar had said.

"Thank you," he replied. "Alright now to go to our final border." He quickly marked the border before moving on to the last border. When they arrived, he stopped at the gate of Carrionplace which stunk almost as bad as the Thunderpath but smelled more of rotten food than gas from monsters. "Our last border is Carrionplace. This is not a border we have to protect from cats. This border is almost just as dangerous as our others because of rats. Individually, they are only dangerous because of the disease they carry. In groups, they can kill. Never hunt here," he told Mousepaw.

Mousepaw took on all of the strong scents of blood and death, and the rats that killed her Clanmates.

Looking around once more, Thrushstar finally looked at Mousepaw. "You think you got this?"

Mousepaw nodded, sighing at the sour thought of death.

"Good," he replied before looking up at the sky. With the moon barely even close to moonhigh, Thrushstar looked back at Mousepaw. "Since we have plenty of time, do you want to try to do some hunting before going back to camp or do you want to rest?"

OOC: I forgot about this XD

IC: The she-cat nodded. "Where should we play with dolls? hunt some prey?"
