Daddy-Daughter Bonding [Closed(?)]

It was a cool Greenleaf day, a few wispy clouds framing the bright sun. Ashcloud lazed about in a sunny patch of camp. He'd been playing the stay-at-home dad to those eight kittens at every opportunity; Mistfeather surely got tired of them. The tom laid on his back to warm his white belly, eyes nearly closed from the moment of peace. Turning his head to the nursery, he gazed into the dark den, waiting for one to appear. They should be waking up now, the sunlight was creeping across the soft floor with every passing minute.

With a flurry of squeaks, the tiny Wisteriakit bounded from the nursery in tiny, rough, flailing steps. She was the first one to wake, and she was determined to be the first to her father. "Daddy!" she cried as she pounced on the warm, extended stomach of her father.

winterkit padded out her yellow eyes taking in the world. She looked for her father and when she saw him she ran over to him. "Daddy!!" She leaped and landed next to her father.

Two tiny forms stumbled out of the nursery, his young daughters, Wisteriakit and Winterkit. It was adorable, watching them patter about on those little legs. Oof. The first scrap of fur had landed on his exposed belly, winding him for a moment. He twisted to see her on his stomach and purred. The warrior then pretended to be injured by her pounce, gently throwing her off him by rolling side to side dramatically. "Ah! You've wounded me! Oh the pain..!" He flopped over to pull Winterkit to him with a paw. "Be brave, my child."

"Always for you daddy" Winterkit meowed then giggled.
