IC: Oakkit felt happy with the presence of apprentices. They're so fun! The tom looked up at Creampaw when she asked him how to play moss ball. "This time, I've made my own rules for the game!" he proudly said. "Instead of just hitting the moss ball from one cat to the other, someone will throw the moss ball furthest as they can, and one cat will try to catch it so fast before the others do! So, from now on, that moss ball is a shrew." Oakkit felt quite proud of himself, and especially to play with apprentices. This is going to be like a hunting patrol!

Creampaw purred. Oakkit was young, but she was pretty smart to think of such a complex game! It wasn't that complex, but it was for a kit to think of. Impressed, Creampaw nodded interestedly, and asked, "Can the cat who hit it chase it?" She wanted to fully understand the game so as not to get Oakkit angry if she didn't play it right.

Oakkit tilted his head in confusion. Oh no, I hope I explained the rules right! "Thanks for pointing that out!" he mewed to Creampaw, "Sadly, the cat who throws the ball can't catch it with the others... but that's ok! We can all take turns!" With that thought in mind, Oakkit felt excited, hoping for the apprentices to play his game.

Creampaw nodded. "Okay! How about the cat that catches the ball throws it next? That seems the fairest way to decide." She felt sorry for holding the game up, but she wanted to make sure that it was fair.

Oakkit felt glad that Creampaw was helping creating the rules. He didn't think the game would work, but thanks to these cats playing with him, the tom was sure that it would be fun! "Great idea, Creampaw! Ok, who's going to throw it first?"

"I will!" Creampaw purred. She didn't love running, so she decided to do the non-running job first, to stretch out her muscles while the other cats raced.
