Spiderkit and Tigerkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath Highrock for a clan meeting!" Duskfall called out to his clan from his place on Highrock. The sleek brown tom was wearing grooves into the rock with how often he leaped onto it to hold ceremonies. This season had truly been a blessed one, with Thunderclan tripling it's size with the sheer amount of kits.

There were some concerns on what the clan will do in Leafbare, but that was a problem for later. Now it was time to welcome three kits into apprenticehood.

Spiderkit excitedly gathered around the high rock and sat down. He had a strong feeling of what the upcoming ceremony was going to be about, since he was now of age to be an apprentice. However, he contained his overjoyed excitement, as a way to show that he was actually mature enough to be apprenticed.

Specklefur coolly emerged from the warrior den with a snort, her eye feeling heavy with sleep as she walked over, falling onto her behind with a thump the she-cat looked up towards Duskfall.

Tigerkit licked the fur on his chest as he stepped out of the nursery. He knew for sure that this was going to be the day he became an apprentice and he would finally be able to hunt, fight, explore, and do much more. Plus, it was another step towards becoming a warrior!

The tom flicked his ear and padded over to the Highrock, plopping down and staring straight up at Duskfall.

Spiderkit glanced over toward Tigerkit as he stepped out of the nursery. He felt equally excited for him being of age to become an apprentice as for himself. He hoped that he and Tigerkit could grow closer together as friends as they trained together. They hadn't really talked much before, but it was never too late to start. He gazed over at the other kit, making eye contact with him and smiled. However, he didn't speak, for he was waiting for Duskfall to carry on with their ceremonies.

"Spiderkit, Tigerkit. Please step forward." The tom asked, then he continued. "Spiderkit, Tigerkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior names, you will be known as Spiderpaw and Tigerpaw. Your mentors will be Hawkstrike and Specklefur. I hope they will pass down all they knows on to you."
