Spiderkit is lonely

Spiderkit awoke to a lovely day in the ThunderClan camp. He stood to his paws, stretched, and then stepped outside into the fresh air that lingered throughout the camp. The long-legged tom sat down outside of the nursery and began to groom his ruffled up fur. He groomed it until his fur appeared to be smooth and clean. After he finished, he gazed around the camp for anyone he could talk to. He didn't see many around at the moment, so he assumed that most were out hunting or elsewhere. Thinking of this made Spiderkit feel suddenly lonely. This was kind of strange for this kitten, as he was usually playful and energetic. However, as a kit, when you are alone by yourself, it is hard to be playful. So, for now, Spiderkit continued to laze around in the camp. If anyone came by to offer company, then he would gladly accept it in a heartbeat, but until then he would remain in his boredom.

Shrikekit dashed out of the nursery speedily, wriggling through the brambled entrance that was a little too thick for her. The black and cream calico was eager to see the camp that she'd been kept away from due to being young. Her mother remained behind, still napping as her siblings were curled up, it was the perfect opportunity.

Her fluffy tail pointed straight as she leaped around, looking at all the sights and breathing in the scents of her clanmates. During her adventures, she scented another kit, guessing from his milk-scent that hadn't faded yet. Following her nose, she ran into Spiderkit, a fellow kit from the nursery. She didn't really talk much to him, with seven siblings that were all eager to play but she was curious about the long legged tom.

"Hello there."

Spiderkit perked up when he heard someone speaking to him. He recognized the voice to be Swiftkit's, one of his denmates. "Hey there, Swiftkit," he meowed, returning the kind greeting. He was glad to finally have someone to talk to. Before now, he hadn't really interacted much with her, but that didn't matter now. He wasn't shy around her either, but that wasn't unusual for him. The long-legged kitten had always been quite accepting of others, and he was easy to get along with. "How is everything going?" he then asked her, hoping to hold on to the conversation that was started in between them.

OOC: Changed her name to Shrikekit, I was hating Swiftkit.

"Hm, well I finally managed to sneak out of the nursery, so I'm happy." Shrikekit punctuated the end of her sentence with a happy twitch of her whiskers, enjoying being outside and talking to the fellow kitten. There wasn't much else for the kit to mention about her life, she'd only really been conscious for about three moons, and been alive for five moons.

One thing she did notice was that he had rather long legs for a kit. Like a spiders. Tactlessly, the she-cat asked. "Spiderkit, did your mother call you that because you have long legs? I bet you're going to be super tall when you grow up."

"Contraire, my friend," purred a she-cat as she padded out of the nursery. Stormkit was never asleep, she had been pretending. "Didn't you know, evil never sleeps? I was watching you the whole time, Shrikekit." The pale grey and cream kitten smiled her mischievous little smirk and sat down, letting her tail sprawl out behind her. Stormkit turned to Spiderkit after her sister asked the question. "You are quite tall, mister. How'd you get them long legs?" She studied the tom and noted that he seemed like a sneaky and stubborn thing; those ones were always hard to trust. You see, Sormkit kept a mental list of cats to trust, and not to trust. His warm eyes told otherwise abot his sneaky and stubborn appearance, so she decided to study him a bit before deciding which list he should go into.

Flashkit padded out "hi guys!" Her light brown pelt was covered in moss and her white paws and chest as well her silver stripe quivering as she sat down

"Hello Stormkit, Flashkit, and Shrikekit," Spiderkit greeted. "I guess you could look at it that way, but other than that I don't really know. Maybe it's because I look like a spider somehow?" he teased as a way to answer the kits' question about why his mother chose to call him Spiderkit.

"You do look like a spider." She giggled

"A spider that's missing four legs, apparently," he teased.
