Training? Already? (For Frostpaw, Goldenpaw, Lionpaw, Shinepaw, Sunpaw, Greenleaf, Palegaze, and Sorrelheart only)

Frozenflame yawned as the last of the moonlight poured down on him and his father. He had been woken up early by Blazingheart to train his apprentice with him. Blazingheart had woken up a few others to come along, like Palegaze, Sorrelheart, Greenleaf, and their new apprentices, along with Frozenflame's and his own. The question was if they would show up at all. He sighed and waited paitently.

Blazingheart sat with a happy expression on his face as he glanced over Frozenflame. With his daughter dead, Frozenflame was his only kit related by blood to him. Greenleaf was adopted after his parents both died. He sadly remembered back to his enemy, Greenleaf's dad. He remembered how they got into trouble for fighting or something like that one time. Blazingheart also remembered how Hollyberry and Wildheart had been good friends. He wished he could see Wildheart and his enemy again. Maybe this was going to be the time when he tells Greenleaf he was adopted.

Frostpaw dashed out of the apprentice den, eager to start learning the ways of a warrior. She was one of the first apprentices to arrive, confidently striding over to see her mentor in the clearing. Deciding to surprise him, she dropped to a crouch (or what she imagined a hunting crouch would be like) and tried to sneak up on Frozenflame.

Goldenpaw trotted out of the apprentices' den. "Can we train?" She asked. She no longer limped. Her wounds from the badger were better.


OOC: When I posted this I had no idea who her mentor was...

OOC: It's Palegaze, i think.

IC: Frozenflame turned around as paw steps came from behind him. He laughed when he saw his niece trying to sneak up on him in the worst hunting crouch ever. (I think it's his niece. She is the daughter of littlefang, who is Hawkstrike's brother, right? And Hawkstrike is Frozenflame's mate.) "I think you need to work on that," he purred, falling down into a perfected crouch. "You'll get the hang of it eventually."

Blazingheart purred as Goldenpaw joined them. "Yes, we are going to train today, but we have to wait for other. If they don't come soon, then the four of us will go out."

Greenleaf watched from the ferns with narrowed eyes. Without alerting Frozenflame, he looked over at Frostpaw and mouthed, 'This is how you do it, Frostpaw!'. When he thought she saw him, he crept out of the ferns, warning Blazingheart not to give him away, though the tom was not sure if his father would listen. Approaching his brother stealthily, he was confident that Frozenflame had not noticed him.

Goldenpaw walked around. "Where is Palegaze? I want to start training." She complained. She really wanted to train, for she was better from her badger attack wounds. Goldenpaw saw all of her siblings with their mentors. "Palegaze. Palegaze. Palegaze. Palegaze." Goldenpaw meowed. She hoped Palegaze would be there soon.
