Breezekit, Dawnkit, and Leafkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Falconstar bounded to the top of the Tallrock and called to his clan, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

A small ginger she-kit woke from the nursery in a jolt by a gentle nudge of her mother. Today was finally the day! She could hardly stay still as Dawnkit's mother attempted to groom her, instead she kept bounding up and down sliently chanting. "Todays the day! Todays the day! Yes yes yes yes!"

The pretty she-kit scrambled from the nursery, she didn't know much about the ceremony. Only that Breezekit and Leafkit will be apprenticed today as well. Dawnkit's ears perked, her eyes widening as she saw the entire clan gather beneath Falconstar, they'd be watching her today. And they would be watching everything she did until she has proven herself that she was fully capable of being a great warrior of windclan. With a nervous gulp, the she-kit settled down her bright blue eyes anxious and on Falconstar, waiting for the leader to call her up.

Cobaltfire padded into camp with fresh-kill. She set the prey down on the pile and made her way over to where the oher cats were gathering for an apprentice ceremony.

Wolftrot padded into the clearing and sat underneath the Tallrock at the summons.

Willowbreeze emerged from the warrior's den, coming to sit down kindly before Falconstar. Rumor had spread that there'd be kits apprenticed, and if she had her paw in it the hopes of gaining an apprentice were there, front and center. Watching the supposed kits rush out in excitemet, the she-cat shook her head. The adrenaline pumping through these kits' veins... StarClan knows how much I wish I still had that in me. She thought cautiously to herself, before turning her attention to her grandfather sitting up on the Tallrock.

Behind the other two came Breezekit, but she wasn't bouncing like Dawnkit. Rather, she looked as if she was going to fall apart right then and there. A panic attack, of sorts. But when she saw Falconstar.... Her eyes lit up, and she came over and took her spot on the edge of the crowd. Not in the front, or the back, she just took a side and sat there. The fluffy tail of hers flicked in anticipation, silently hoping that her mentor would be someone she could trust. Not someone who was too noisy, too fast... But someone she felt was right for her and that she could put her trust and faith into.

Meadowfall padded from the Warriors den upon hearing the call and sat among her clanmates figuring it was an apprentice ceremony.

Ashpaw rushed from the fresh-kill pile the moment she heard the summons. Hoping against hope that more apprentices would be coming to join her, she saw the three kits lined up under the Tallrock. She could hardly suppress a yowl of joy. First Rosepaw and Lightpaw, and now three more apprentices would join her! She would never be lonely again.
"It's about time, too," she said to herself. She wondered who the lucky mentors would be to teach these young, energetic cats.

Leafkit ran over happily. "It's time for my ceremony! Yay!" She said and bounded to the front.

Falconstar smiled as the soon-to-be-apprentices gathered around, then he continued on. "Breezekit, Dawnkit, Leafkit: the time has come for you three to become apprentices. Until you become warriors, your names will be Breezepaw, Dawnpaw, and Leafpaw. Dawnpaw, your mentor will be Meadowfall. Leafpaw, your mentor will be Cobaltfire. And Breezekit, I will mentor you."

Meadowfall blinked then smiled some and padded forward to her new apprentice,Dawnpaw. She bent down and touched noses with the apprentice.

Breezepaw was so scared when it came her turn to recieve her mentor. But when she heard those few words, she exhaled in relief. It was someone she did know and, could indeed trust. It made her feel so much better. But knowing tradition, she would have to move to the front of the crowd and touch noses with the leader. Or, would he come down and touch noses with her..? The she-cat didn't know. Having to go off of a quick sense, she stepped forwards towards the Tallrock, but still stayed a few paces away.

Leafpaw gasped. She ran to Cobaltfire, easily recogninzing her. "I'm so excited to be your apprentice!"

Cobaltfire smiled and bent down to touch noses with Leafpaw. "It sure is exciting! I'm glad to be your mentor!"
