idk what to name this topic but its for whitefur and rockfall

Mice seemed to be everywhere, and oh how it annoyed the living daylight out of the tabby. Flicking her tail in annoyance as she tried to find every one she could, at least her count was at five. Mice of all sizes, too. Large ones, skinny ones, heck. She could just about become the Mouse Queen if she kept it up! Continuing to lure in a few more mice, the childish side of Whitefur could be shown as her claws outstretched to hook a few mouse tails. Adding another dead mouse to the pile, Whitefur sighed with exhaustion. She'd never get rid of all of these squeaks! At least they all seemed to shut up... Thankfully. The tabby grabbed her bundle and was luckily, able to bury them in what seemed to be an old fox den beneath some tree roots.

The deputy had never seen so many mice before, it was actually enjoyable. As Rockfall lept towards one and crushed the living life out of it with his strong fore-paws, killing them had brought back young memories when Rockfall was a kit and an apprentice. At least new-leaf was fast approaching, and the sickness would be over. Rockfalls ears twitched seeing a rather large plump mouse running past him, The deputy quickly ran after attempting to leap onto it and crush it's little bones. The deputy quickly neared closer and closer to Whitefur, but was completely oblivious to any sounds or movements his only focus was this big tasty mouse that he could pratically already taste in his jaws. Though something snapped Rockfall back to reality but it was too late..

In mid-air Rockfall's yellow eyes blinked surprised, at the sight of the beautiful white tabby but it'd been too late as gravity was not on his side.. With a loud crash Rockfall landed directly onto Whitefur, before he quickly scrambled to his paws and straightned himself out.

"Oh my... I'm so sorry Whitefur!" The grey tabby spoke frantically his voice filled with concern and care. "Are you alright? You aren't hurt are yoou..?" Rockfall asked his yellow eyes quickly studying the beautiful she-cat.

Funny as it was, Whitefur had actually locked target onto the same mouse that the silver tom had. She couldn't blame him for not noticing her, the mouse seemed to be the fattest there had been in ages! But even with such a distraction, Whitefur had been able to detect Rockfall. With a sudden gasp, and being tackled by surprise, Whitefur was practically thrown to the ground. She felt so bad at that moment. Her ears flattened as Rockfall scrabbled off of her, and she stood up. "I-It's fine Rockfall... I'm okay. You just surprised me." Heck, she sort of blamed herself. She should've been able to move out of the way just enough to where he wouldn't have landed directly on top of her, but then again she had been focused on a meal. "A-Are you okay, though? I mean, I'm not exactly the best of pillows to land on." Even in this situation she had found out a way to slip a little joke. But seeing that Rockfall had taken a pretty hard fall, her blue eyes were quick to maneuver about Rockfall, totally checking him out to make sure he was alright. Out of all cats, it seemed that they both had bad luck. Whitefur especially... Out of all cats, it was the deputy who had landed on her. But then of course it had to have been bad for him too... The deputy goofing up? That was surely something that would be bad. At least, there was no other cat to be around to have seen it.

Rockfall quickly gave a curt nod too Whitefur, he didn't blame her he was a bit surprised himself too although landing on her did make the fall not as bad. And her beautiful white fur did feel very soft it was almost comforting and he did want to stay ontop of her for a few longer seconds.. too bad that moment was over. The shock left the deputy a bit speechless - or dazed, his gaze only fixed onto the she-cats, Rockfall wasn't exactly sure if she was lying or not. Though he should trust her, he was the deputy after all he needed to trust their clan mates. The tom slightly chuckled at her joke, a gentle smile forming. "No no you were quite comfortabl-" He didn't finish that sentence as it felt a little embarassing to say. An awkward slience filled the air, and the deputy could feel nothing but slight heat that came from his cheeks. "I-I-I'm Fine, Just glad that I didn't crush you or anything.." The deputy said gently, an ear flicking nervously. "Well how was your hunt..? I've never seen so many mice around skyclan before have you?"

Whitefur had noticed the somewhat dazed look in his eyes, and a chuckle slipped from her maw. Noticing how he seemed to cut off his reply to her joke, a smile of her own formed. Her shoulder twitched as a pesky bug landed on it, her tongue swiping over the patch of fur once or twice. "It was surprisingly easy. As annoying as those squeaks get, I've managed to rack up a good seven mice. What about you? Although, I must say... I wish the birds returned. I miss racing up a tree to try and get a meal." Her eyes drifted longingly above her, the branches above them being studied. She was determining whether or not they could hold a cat of her build, thin but all the while agile. Whitefur had a bit of an itch to explore the trees once more, it gave her leg muscles a good stretch. Plus, it was in her blood. Little did she know, but actual SkyClan blood passed through her veins. It was all just part of who she was, but it also made her question. Did the leaders before Breezestar ever branch out, their children becoming rogues? It made her wonder, seeing as the clan was mainly composed of them. All the while they were loyal and strong, something that the she-cat admired.

Rockfalls whiskers twitched when Whitefur chuckled, having the thought of how adorable the she-cat looked when she was laughing. The two haven't talked much but it might be the reason that Rockfall is always wrapped up with his deputy duties that he hardly has time to socialize. Besides talking with Breezestar, that was pretty much the only cat he spoke with. It was a bit of a pity really, he had missed out on getting to know Whitefur and other cats in Skyclan. "Seven Mice?!?!" Rockfall blinked letting out a surprised mew, he didn't imagine that she would be able to catch seven mice. With a curt cough Rockfall nodded "Well Skyclan will be able to have an enjoyable meal thanks to your catches." Rockfall said his yellow eyes softening, "O-oh me I only caught two, I'm not so good at catching the little rascals I must admit." The deputy said with a shrug, an ear twitching.

Rockfall didn't really enjoy hunting prey at all, he really sucked at catching birds they would always flutter off into the sky whenever he approached them. Besides they were pretty annoying to catch in his opinion. "Well they'll come back soon thankfully leaf-bare is finally coming to a close and the forest will be full of prey again." Rockfall said thoughtfully glancing at the white-she-cat. His yellow gaze looked up towards the trees when she had mentioned them, an idea forming in his mind. "Well who said we need to catch some birds to climb some trees? Why don't we just climb them and have fun?" Rockfall said with a gentle smile his eyes beaming with adventure. The deputy never had time to really just goof off but he was sure that no one would mind, afterall every cat should have fun once and awhile right? "What do you say?" Rockfall asked Whitefur curiously tilting his head.

Whitefur couldn't help but laugh again at the fact that the deputy had caught only two. "They have a thing for berries. I've been able to lure quite a few of them, and catch them while they start eating. It works pretty well." A soft purr accompanied her words as she shared her tactic with the tom. Thinking outside the box was something she seemed to have a thing for, and this was no exception. Her tail swished with amusement on the soft terrain, the past leaf-fall's leaves surprisingly still lying about.

The she-cat's eyes seemed to light up at Rockfall's idea, nodding eagerly. "How could I say no to an offer from the clan Deputy?" There it was, the joyful side of her. Moving over to the nearest tree trunk, her claws unsheathed. Muscles flexed as she lept to a low branch, her claws hooking into the bark and allowing her to pull herself up. "I'll see you at the top!"

Rockfall thought over Whitefur's idea and thought that it was very smart and creative. "Thats smart we should share that information with the clan. " The deputy said his tail twitching. His yellow gaze flickered over to dropped red berries laying perfectly clean on the earth figuring that was what Whitefur had too use for the trap. She was a very smart and likeable cat he had too admit, it was always so fun being with her, what was this new feeling that he felt? The tom playfully smiled at her eagerness, feeling his cheeks turning warm again as Whitefur mentioned that.
"Oh Whitefur your such a beautiful she-cat!" Rockfall said outloud, blinking as he had realized that he said that outloud instead of his thoughts. "Y-yeah! I'll race you but good luck on trying to keep up with me..!" Rockfall blurted out, his claws sinking deep into the trees bark and making his way frantically up to the tree. His heart was thumping as he raced up the tree, not looking back but only looking up. Blood pumped fast through his veins, as he quickly made his way up to the tree. "Ha! Beat you..???"

Partially distracted by climbing, she hadn't noticed Rockfall's comment all that much. Having really only heard her name, once she settled her head tilted. "Hm? Sorry, I missed what you had said.." Suddenly being caught off-guard by Rockfall accepting her challenge, a grin appeared on her maw as she bolted after him. Her claws gripping into the tree's flesh, once and awhile her claw snagging and causing her to fall somewhat behind. Taking to a branch above him as he said his words, she balanced herself to where she could lay down. With her tail hanging just above his nose, with a small flick of her tail the white fur brushed against it. "Well, seeing as you're the winner, you get to pick the reward~" Her vocals hummed the words as her claws dug into the branch to hold herself as she hung her head beneath the wood to look at Rockfall.

Realizing that Whitefur didn't hear what rockfall had said out-loud the deputy let out a quiet sigh of relief, at least tree-climbing saved him the embarrasement. "Oh nothing! nothing at all whitefur.." The tom said with a gentle purr as he had settled down on a branch himself, shifting so he could get real cozy. His yellow eyes gazed forward, looking at the sky and noticing how beautiful it was. The new-leaf sky's were the most beautiful skies that Rockfall had ever laid his eyes on, maybe it was a good omen from skyclan.

Rockfall blinked, startled to see Whitefur tail hanging just over him, he had been so surprised that he had almost fallen off. Thankfully however he managed to get a better grip on-time and not fall off, although that was very startling too him. He didn't even notice that Whitefur had went up there, what a sneaky cat he had mused to himself. His ear flicked as he felt her fluffy tail brush against him sending small tingling sensitions crawling up his spine, he let out a forced chuckle as he tried to hide the fact that yet again he was blushing.

"Oh right.. I win, hmm what can a small she-cat like yourself do for me?" Rockfall had thought giving Whitefur a teasing mew. "Oh I know how about you go on a patrol with me just you and me? sound good? and if you don't like the sound of that then you can become my personal servent for the moon. " Rockfall laughed a purr rising through his throat, gently blinking when he had noticed that Whitefur's beautiful face was very close to his, he quickly turned his gaze away looking at something else. "Don't be so mouse-brained you could fall off!" the deputy said his yellow eyes gazing directly into hers.

Metaphorically, the white she-cat raised an eyebrow temporarily. "Oh, I can do lots." She purred, her voice carrying that of what was like silk. Listening to her options, she paused as she seemed to think. "Well, if I wanted to take the easy way out I'd go for that patrol. But then again, being a personal servant could be fun." She purred softly, seeming to giggle at his comment. "Don't worry so much. I've done this since I was an apprentice." For his sake though, she went back to balancing how she had been, with her tail once more messing with his head. "I think, that I'm going to take the interesting way. I'll be your little slave for a moon, because either way I think I'll be stuck taking that patrol." Once more, a purr rumbled from her throat.

Cautiously standing upon the branch, Whitefur moved to the trunk of the tree. Sliding down, her claws able to grab hold of the same branch Rockfall was sitting on. With a push from her hind legs, suddenly, she was right beside him. "So, how can I be of assistance?"

Rockfall looked over, seeming to be more engaged in the conversation when Whitefur had agreed to be his personal servent for a month, this should be fun moon for him at least, who knows about Whitefur it might be the worst or it might be the best moon of her life as well. A bright smile twitched onto the deputys giant maw. "Well I'll give you points for being bold and smart, because either way I would of made you go on that patrol with me." Rockfall mewed slightly shifting in his spot. An ear flickered when Whitefur had spoken although the deputy wasn't really listning he was to busy plotting for what she could do first for him, maybe something absouletly crazy and weird. Or maybe he could do something cruel and mean but say it was a joke. Whitefurs extremely fluffy tail had brought Rockfall out of his thoughts and he quickly ducked his head away, from her reach his cheeks over-heating once again. "Hey quit it would you ! you fur-ball!" Rockfall hissed playfully trying to stay calm.

Rockfall blinked surprised once Whitefur leaped down from her branch and onto his,the branch gave an uneasy shake before the branch had snapped before Rockfall's eyes. Of corse it couldnt hold up the weight of two-cats. Rockfall yowled in alarm, closing his eyes as he fell down through the air. However he did land safely on his paws. Though that did startle him, his gaze looked over towards Whitefur a hint of anger in his yellow eyes. "Mousebrain!" Rockfall had spat towards her, walking off but acidentally brushed pelts with hers. He suddenly froze in his tracks, unable too move for a moment.

To say the least, at Whitefur's inspection the branch had appeared sturdy enough to hold them both. But evidently, it wasn't. A gasp had surely escaped the white ball of fur when it had snapped, the branch plummeting to the forest below. After taking a little bit of a tumble, she too had landed on her paws. Well, two of them anyways. Falling at a weird angle didn't give much help to her balance, but she ended up being alright. "I thought it would hold us both..." Whitefur looked down guiltily, her tail coming to curl around her paws.

The branch had been pretty thick too Rockfall had no idea why it just broke on the two of them, but he shouldn't be taking it out on Whitefur that'd be unfair. The tabby let out a sigh his ear flicking. The deputy then smiled at White fur,  it was a gentle and warm smile that showed care and other emotions. "Well mistakes do happen so I guess your alright." Rockfall had mewed softry an ear twitching as he glanced up towards the tree where they had fallen from. "That tree was old anyways so it wasn't really your fault." Rockfall had mewed shrugging looking like he could hardly care less. Although he did look a little bored as he glanced around the territory. Not knowing what to do next, because the deputy definitely did not want to fall out of a tree again. 


Rockfall approached Whitefur his tail touching her shoulder.  "Oh its fine just forget about it, it was also quite intresting in ways." Rockfall has said to Whitefur sliding his tail off her shoulders. "So do you have any other fun things we can do?" Rockfall had mewed to her trying to come up with a new topic.

A smile graced upon Whitefur's maw, comforted by Rockfall's sudden exclusion on what had happened. "Well, I still owe you that patrol. Besides, with it being close to sun-down you should be organizing patrols." She started teasing him, seeing as he was the deputy after all. It was sort of a chance that very few cats got, being able to catch the deputy of all cats by themselves.
