Looking down at the apprentice, the Shadowclan leader was glad that he seemed at least a little excited with how quickly he moved. "Tonight we gather to make this apprentice a warrior. Feverpaw, please step forward."

Feverpaw rose, his heart beating with excitement. His head and fluffy tail were erect, and his eyes were filled with pride. Obediently, the apprentice stepped forward, trying to quiet down his loud purring.
