Palekit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!" Fishpelt hollered.

Palekit scampered out into the clearing, smiling up at Fishpelt. She settled down and tilted her head up to hear what the deputy was going to announce.

"Palekit, please step forward," commanded Fishpelt.

She nodded and, head and tail held high, padded forward obediently.

"Palekit, you have reached the age of six moons and are now ready to be apprenticed. From this day forth, you shall be known as Palepaw." Fishpelt narrowed her eyes and sorted through the warriors to pick out a mentor. "Patchface will be your mentor. I hope she passes all of her knowledge onto you."
