"Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice," Thrushstar said, looking down as Whiskerkit. "Whiskerkit, from tonight until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Whiskerpaw. Your mentor shall be Fennelcloud. May she teach you everything that she knows." When he was done speaking, the leader leaped off of the rock for the clan to finish the ceremony.
Fennelcloud, who was totally there the whole time, looked up excitedly as her name was called. She was getting an apprentice! This was so wonderful! Walking up to Whiskerpaw, she quickly touched noses with him. "We start as soon as possible!" she mewed. |
