Finding the one we lost but she wont remember

Tunnelheart had woken in the nursery where she had stayed even after she lost Wolfkit. She left camp remembering the dream she had. She smiled a little in her bit of excitement to see her kit again even if she may not know anything about her she was still happy. The dark she cat darted through the territory as quickly as she could smiling some. She still hurt from the rejection she received from her mate ,Strike, but knowing she had one thing back that she lost sbe looked forward to it. Tunnelheart skidded to a stop at the Thunderpath quietly looking around.

A small kit stumbled alongside the Thunderpath, her mother laid on the road, run over by a monster. She mewled for warmth, milk, and protection, unaware of the grevious loss she had suffered, too young to know of death.

The kit's white paws were stained red, as she pawed as her mother, confused to why she wasn't responding. Her eyes were still blurry from how young she was, and couldn't see the horrific wounds that cover her mother.

The kit was unharmed, but with the chill that still linger from Leafbare, the kit wouldn't last long without some cat's protection and love.

Tunnelheart looked seeing the kit. She blinked noticing the mother. She set a paw on the Thunderpath and once she was sure it was safe for her to cross. She onew the kit's mother was dead that was certain but the kit need to be taken care of. Once she was sute to cross she darted over across the hard black surface. The minutes she was close to the kit she started to gently pick it up by the scruff.

The kit in question mewled in protest at being taken away from her mother, but became oddly quiet when she scent who had picked her up. Whilst she didn't know the she-cat who'd rescued her from certain doom, she found her scent comforting and oddly familiar.

Tunnelheart carried the kit of the Thunderpath quickly making it across just in time before a monster roared past. Gently Tunnelheart set the kit down and looked at the kit for a moment before gently licking its head.

The kit mewled quietly, leaning into the she-cat's touch docilely. She was a spitting image of Wolfkit, except she was yet to be weaned, and her eyes were just opening. She needed a warm place to lie, and be safe.

Tunnelheart noticed the kit was a spitting image of Wolfkit and she smiled a little"don't worry i'l take care of you"She mewed softly locking the kit on the head once more before picking her up and carring her to camp.
