Seeing Camp for the first time.

"If someone gets hurt, they go to the medicine cat and get healed up," Blazingpaw replied. He coughed as he looked into the den.

"Shouldn't you go because you're ill?" Silverkit was worried, if Blazingpaw was coughing a lot, he should have visited the medicine cat.

"I already went," the tom replied. "It takes some time to heal up, even though you visit the medicine cat. What the medicine cat does is make the time for me to heal quicker." He tried to explain it so that a kit would understand. He wasn't very good at it. "Do you want to see the medicine cat den?" Blazingpaw asked.

"Oh" Silverkit felt stupid after the blunder. However, she perked up when Blazingpaw asked her. "Yeah, let's go!" Silverkit raced ahead of the older cat.

Blazingpaw laughed. His laughs turned into coughs as he ran after Silverkit. He stopped in front of the medicine cat's den and sat down, catching his breath. Usually, a short run like that wouldn't of winded him like that, but his illness was making his lungs weak. "This is it," he said.

Silverkit ran in circles around Blazingpaw. "Can we go inside? Please, please, please!" Silverkit stuck her nose inside the enterance, then fell backwards and puffed out after inhaling the mixed scents of the herbs from the medicine den. "Eww, what was that?"

Blazingpaw laughed. "What you smell is a bunch of herbs used for healing." The ginger tabby padded in. "I don't know if the medicine cat is here or not." Blazingpaw looked around.

Silverkit stuck her head inside the den again, trying to ignore the mixed scents. "No cats in here." She perked up. "Where next!"

"How about the elder's den?" Blazingpaw asked as he turned toward the direction of the den.

Silverkit looked in the same direction as Blazingpaw, towards the Elder's den. "Yeah, I want to hear all the old stories!" Silverkit had heard from older kits in the nursery that the elders told all the best stories.
