Honeydrop padded back into camp after a stroll. Her mate, (NPC) had died a while ago and she wanted to get her mind off it. But then the pains came. "Help!" She yowled. It hurt so bad..

((OoC: isn't Sunpaw the MC apprentice? maybe he could help with the birth giving or something if nobody else is going to post here))

Sunpaw rushed into help. There was no sign of Cloudpatches much that moon.. Well, that was not important now. He rushed into help Honeydrop. "Where's the father? Shouldn't he be here with you?" Honeydrop wailed. Sunpaw regretted his question and helped with the birth. Soon a dark tom kit was born

((OoC: Shade is female >m<)) The black she-kit squeaked loudly with confusion from just being born, before wriggling towards her new mother and immediately began suckling for milk.

Honeydrop smiled as her kit was born. Sunpaw nodded as she said her thanks and padded out. She licked her kits head, careful not to change the kits position. "I will name you... Shadekit." She announced quietly and curled her tail around her kit.

Shadekit stopped suckling for a second and squeaked at her mother, as if she recognised her new name.

Honeydrop continued to smile and gave her one more lick before falling asleep, protecting her kit. "Yes. You will be Shadekit.." She mewed quietly before drifting off to sleep.
