Darkpaw's Warrior Ceremony

It was time for another warrior ceremony. Thank Starclan. Leaping onto the rock, Thrushstar called for his clan. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Darkpaw padded out of the Jaggedrock. His mentor had given him hints about his ceremony, and he was sure today was the day. He sat down in front.

"Today we gather to make this apprentice a warrior," Trushstar said, looking down at Darkpaw, almost staring at him expectantly. "Darkpaw, please step forward."

It was true! He smiled and stepped up. Finally! I'm becoming a warrior!

OOC: Darkstrike, correct?

Watching the apprentice closely, the Shadowclan leader continued. "Darkpaw, do you promise to serve and protect this clan, as well as uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?"

OOC; Yes

Darkpaw gulped. The promise. I killed Dapplepelt. I can't be a warrior. But the excitement tore away his fears and he spoke. "I do."

"Then from this moment on, you will be known as Darkstrike. We welcome you as a full warrior of Shadowclan," Thrushstar said before leaping off of the rock to let the rest of the clan celebrate the new warrior.

"Thank you." Darkstrike said and went to prepare for his vigil later that day.
