Snowfrost sat right by the RiverClan camp entrance. Excitement flooded through her like a river rushing down the earth as she waited for her first apprentice. She had always wanted an apprentice to look up to her. The cool wind touched her silver, leopard spotted fur as she sat outside. The she cat bent her ears backward and tried her best to keep herself warm. "Streampaw!"

Streampaw heard her mentor call her name and the silver and gray she cat flicked her ear before she padded to her mentor flicking her tail in excitement.

When Snowfrost saw her apprentice, she stood up and touched her nose with her tail tip. "Hello, Streampaw." The she cat greeted the young cat warmly and dipped her head. "Are you ready to explore the territory?"

"Not until I tell you the rules." Snowfrost mewed before touching Streampaw's muzzle with her tail tip. "1. Always follow directions. 2. Stay beside me at all times. 3. Tell me when something is wrong. Those are some simple rules, so follow them."
