Ghostkits Apprentice Ceremony

Spottedstar stretched and yawned, looking at the kit starting out of the nursery. Oh, that reminded her, time for their ceremony. Jumping atop the Highrock, she called the clan together.

Ghostkit looked up at Spottedstar, who was standing on the Highrock. "Ohhh! A ceremony, I think!!!! What if it was mine?..." the kit bubbled. He tilted his black head and sat down, curling his tail. He was staring up at his leader the whole time.

FeatherPool listened as SpottyedStar called a meeting. Was it a ceremony? Hopefully it was an apprentice ceremony. Maybe she could mentor the apprentice? She walked our and sat down.

"Ghostkit, please step forward" she mewed, waiting for the kit to step forward. "Ghostkit, you have reached the age of 6 moons and are ready to begin your training. Until you have finished your training your name shall be Ghostpaw. Featherpool shall mentor you."

Ghostkit trotted toward his mother and grinned. His father was going to be so pleased!

Lightningstrike bounded into camp, shaking his pelt. Looking around, he saw that a ceremony had taken place. Ghostkit was looking proud and standing next to his mate, so right away he realized who the kit's mentor was.
