Fangtooth padded to the Thunderpath at Moonhigh. "I'm coming, Badgerfang!" she whispered, eyes full of love. She stepped onto the Thunderpath, closed her eyes, and smiled slightly as she felt her fur ripple as a monster neared. It got louder, and the stench washed into her mouth. Then, it was all dark.

"Come, my daughter," whispered the deceased Shadowclan warrior. "Join me in Starclan!" Though he was nowhere to be seen, Badgerfang's rough voice echoed through the night, sounding almost like the wind, but yet clearly a voice.

Heatherfrost looked down at her daughter's dead body and saw the spirit rise up. Her heart leaped with joy, but the joy soon melted to reveal regret that the now-dead warrior couldn't enjoy her time with her former Clanmates.
