Blackpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Leaping onto the rock, Thrushstar called loudly. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" It was time to promote an apprentice to warrior tonight.

BlackPaw ran towards JaggedRock and stood tall waiting for his name to be called. He would become a warrior finally. He wagged his tail excitedly.

Coalshade gathered his wits and appereard below the rock. His eyes cast glanced over ever cat and he calmed down with the watchful eyes of the leader. He flicked his ears after hearing the normal proud sentence and smiled who was it this time? Having no friends near by to ask he stood there his blue eyes full of wonder.

"Tonight we gather to make this apprentice a warrior," Thrushstar called, looking down at the cats before his gaze fixated on Blackpaw. "Blackpaw, please step forward."

BlackPaw stepped towards his leader smiling. He swished his tail quickly.

When the apprentice stepped forward, Thrushstar continued. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and serve and protect this clan, even at the cost of your life?"

BlackPaw nodded and said. "I do!" He took in a deep breath waiting for the greatest moment ever.

"Then by the powers of Starclan, I grant you your warrior name. From now on, you will be known as Blackclaw, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Shadowclan," he announced before leaping off of the rock so the rest of the clan could celebrate the ceremony.
