We're lost

A black-and-white spotted She-cat padded through the large patch of trees. "Ghost... this is a bad idea!" The she-cat said to a white Tom with 1 blue eye and 1 green 1.

"If you're too scared, I understand... That you're a CHICKEN!!! HAHAHA!! Ghost knew he was hurting his sister's feelings, so he continued jeering at her. Ember's a chicken-cat! Ember is a Mouse-brained chicken-cat!!

Ember hears the bush around them rustling so she darts up a nearby tree. Ghost sits on a nearby stone, licking his paw, clearly unaware that danger loomed, very close. "Pssttt! Ghost!" it was too late... by the time Ghost turned around... another cat was already there.

Lilyclaw had been alert as she'd always been when she left the camp, always keeping an ear out for foxes, or twolegs, or whatever enemy might come on by. She would've expected a testy rogue or a stray kittypet; they wandered in now and then, hearing stories from friends and strangers they'd met on their journey to the forest. What she really hadn't been expecting was to see two strange kits walking around all by themselves, seemingly without a queen nearby.

In curiosity, she padded silently up behind them, lowering her head down so her eyes were their level, a mischievous smile on her face. "Why, hello there." The warrior meowed, "Aren't you two a little far from home?"

"Ahh!" Shouts Ember, when the strange warrior comes by. She topples off the tree and lands in the water. Drippinging, Ember climbs out of the bank and shakes her fur.

Ghost runs off into the trees, pelt bristling. "AIEAHHEHH!!" You could hear his "battle" cry all the way up to starclan, he shouted so loudly. Ghost ran for the warrior, missed, and got himself stuck in a hole in a rotting log. Eww! There's a bug in here!" came his faint cry.

"err... sorry about that... He's a little bit... of an odd cat.... again.. really sorry..." she turns and walks over to where ghost is stuck, bites his tail and frees him.

"i'll get you next time kitty cat..." he mutters under his breath.

Hearing his comment, Ember knocks Ghost into the nearby creek and laughs, as he climbs out, soaked.

Lilyclaw took a few hesitant steps back, for a few moments seeming rather dumbstruck on had to react. She was... never exactly... the best with kits...  Back in her kitty-pet days, she grew up among many brothers and sisters, and knew several other cats who were raised to have "pure-blooded" pelts and feet and eyes. Apparently Two-legs prized them for such reasons, not that she ever really understood why. It always seemed strange to her. Yet growing up amongst many kits her entire life, she was never used them and their antics. Ever.

"Ah - hey, are you alright -" She shot a paw out awkwardly as the kit knocked his brother into the water. They seemed to be having way to much fun. The she-cat flicked an ear. Maybe she should try a different approach?

"That's alright." Lilyclaw meowed, walking over and patting Ember's head with her paw. "I'm Lilyclaw. What's your names?" she asked.

"Hi, Lilyclaw, I'm Ember, and this is my Mouse-brain of a brother, Ghost." Hearing that Ghost jumps Ember with Unsheathed claws, digging into her soft belly fur until Ember went limp. "I'll get you later..." He said knowing that his sister was not yet dead. Ember bled a little, but other then that, seemed fine. She opened her eyes and sat up, licking the now red patches on her white-and-black pelt until all traces of blood were gone.

"Nice to meet you both." She meowed, "Where are your parents?" The she-cat flicked her fluffy white tail a bit curiously as she saw the two of them start rough-housing again. Quite the trouble-makers, weren't they? She made a move to step in when she saw a small flash of blood. "Woah, there - Ghost!" The warrior padded over and nudged the little tom with her forehead over. "You don't attack a cats belly unless you want to really hurt them." She scolded gently. The words sounded weird coming from her.
