Ah, how long has it been since he left the camp? It felt like ages! Inhaling a great amount he strolled along down path, his old bones seemingly creaking from his age, grinding almost. Sighing a little he continued, slowly emerging with the grass which got taller and taller, basically hiding his orange pelt. Bringing in the scents of the moor once more he smiled a little. 'I can smell rabbit! And it is still fresh too, lets see if my old bones still work perhaps?' Crouching down the tom looked around through the blades of grass, soon enough his green eyes landed on the brown furred rabbit, a rumble escaping his belly.
Launching forwards he yowled a little, claws extended as he reached for it. No such luck, it escaped, but he wasn't going to let it escape! Crouching again to get a good head-start after it he ran after it, sticking close behind it but not enough to jump onto it. Sadly he slowed his pace down to a small walk, that was when he finally clued into the sound that filled his ears, it was pretty loud to say the least.
Looking up to see a machine dreadfully his eyes widened in surprise, taking in a deep breath he let a screech rip out through his throat and out his maw. Struggling to get his bearings he was just about to start fleeing from the monstrosity, but it was far too late, he was engulfed within seconds, razor sharp blades tearing right through bones and other necessities. To Longtail's own surprise he didn't feel much as he was torn to shreds, literally, it must have been because of the fear and adrenaline he was feeling... he was thankful atleast, to not feel the pain and die as a elder.
Oh, well that was surprising, all that blood emitting from his wounds and mouth already. Proceeding to vomit up blood he shut his eyes, feeling the monster's teeth rip into his skull with a sickening crack and gurgle. With that he lost consciousness, died on the spot to say the least.
Not a part of him looked like he was when he was alive, guts, blood, shredded muscles and tendons littlered the ground, bones shredded to bits and sprinkled the ground like bird feed. His once vibrant green eyes rolling across the ground and brushing against the harvest splotching little amounts of liquid at the bottom of it.
