Morningpaws MCA Ceremony

Nightfire went to the outside of the apprentice's den, and gruffly mewed inside "Morningpaw, get up." The moon was rising into the sky, and they had to hurry.

Morningpaw shifted slightly from her spot, her ears flicking slightly as she muttered softly to herself. "Another five minutes, Nightfire," she moaned as she raised a paw and tiredly placed it on her head. Then she paused. Wait, Nightfire? Oh, right! Her eyes suddenly flashed open as she lowered her paw and got to her feet, looking excitedly at the medicine cat. She had forgotten that he had finally told her that she was going to become his apprentice and that the ceremony would be taking place tonight. She cursed herself slightly for it; how could she have forgotten about something she had waited so long for? She padded toward the medicine cat, being carefully to not wake up her denmates. She was excited; she had waited for this for what seemed to be moons. She had been afraid of getting her warrior name before this, but no, she was going to become a medicine cat after all! She came to a stop as she exited the den, looking at Nightfire with bright eyes. "I'm ready to become your apprentice, Nightfire!"

Nightfire smiling, excited at getting an apprentice, and one that was so excited. "Thats good. We have to hurry, to lets put on a fast pace okay?" Nightfire immediatly start loping out of camp, barely looking behind him to check up on Morningpaw. She was young, she could keep up. They would have little break in between.

Morningpaw smiled as she took off after her mentor, a small bounce in her step. How could she not be excited; she had always been interesting in being a medicine cat and now she was going to have her dream come true! She wanted to help her Clan, and saw this being the best way. She was far to timid to fight; she had learned that from when RiverClan and SkyClan had attacked, but healing? She could do that; she already had a good knowledge of some of the herbs from helping Nightfire. And StarClan; she was always in awe of StarClan but now she would be closer to them than ever...She would make them proud; she would follow in the paw-steps they laid out for her.

Nightfire stopped at the mouth of the cave. Mothermouth. He nodded to Morningpaw and started the descent into the cave

Morningpaw let out a tired huff as they stood in front of Mothermouth. WindClan and ShadowClan were lucky; they didn't have to walk so far! Morningpaw didn't think she had walked so much in her life. However, she paused when she saw Nightfire nod to her and walk into the darkness of the cave. Her tail twitched slightly as she followed after him, taking in a deep breath as she strolled into the darkness of the cave. She kept her mouth open; always keeping track of Nightfire's scent as her whiskers brushed against the side of the caves. The cave flood was cold and hard beneath her feet; used to the light and springy feel of grass. However, as she moved blindly behide Nightfire, she wondered what exactly awaited them at the end of this dark and cramped tunnel.

Nightfire squeezed through the last bit of cave, entering a dark vast opening. He padded forward slightly, waiting. After a few seconds, and glimpse of light shone brightly onto the Moonstone, lighting up the whole cave. And padded up the the Moonstone, and lied down, looking back at Morningpaw to do the same. He waited for her to touch her nose to the cold stone, doing the same afterward. "You tell no one of your dream." he murmured as he spoke to Starclan

BAM. You post shall be the last post? And bam you are my apprentice.

The apprentice came to a stop the moment she entered the cavern, staring in awe and shock at the large stone that rested before them. The moment the moonlight hit it and lit up the whole cavern, she felt her heart soar. This was it; she was going to become a Medicine Cat apprentice. She paused when she saw her soon-to-be mentor walk up to the stone and lie down, quickly hurrying to do the same. As she touched her nose to the stone, her ears flickered as she listened to Nightfire tell her not to tell anybody of her dream, before she felt herself grow tired as her mind drifted off to sleep in a second.
