Pinepaw's Warrior Ceremony

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a Clan meeting!" Reedstar yowled from his perch, his voice carrying across camp. Another day, another warrior. RiverClan was thriving.

Pinepaw walked out of her den stretching her long legs in each turn, as she walked. It was nice out, the sun fascinated her and the breeze was nice as well. She always liked the chilly days of greenleaf, she sat alone wondering what this meeting was about.

"Pinepaw, step forward," Reedstar said with a gesture of his tail, once the Clan had gathered. "I, Reedstar, leader of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Pinepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Looking a bit shocked the she-cat quickly shook the feeling away as if it was something that was caught onto her fur. Obeying the leaders tail gesture Pinepaw took a graceful step forwards her eyes shined brightly as she gazed at the leader to say the warrior words. Raising her head high she nodded, "Yes I promise I will protect my clan with the cost of my life." Pinepaw stated her ear giving a small twitch of pure excitement.

He nodded, with a hint of a purr. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Pinepaw, from this moment you will be known as Pineheart. StarClan honors your sense, loyalty, and kindness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of RiverClan. Congratulations. Your silent vigil will begin tonight."
