Silent Death

Briarheart was taking a nap in the warriors den. The warrior had worked hard the day, and decided to take a break with a nap. But as other warriors would soon discover that the warrior wouldn't be waking up at all. The older warrior laid peacefully in her nest as she drew her last breath, and soon exhaled to inhale no longer. The brown tabby grew still, no twitch of the nose, or shift of the tail. She was gone.
