PostSubject: Lonely Rainy Day   Lonely Rainy Day EmptyFri 4 Jul 2014 - 15:49

Coalheart perched on a dry spot on the Fallen Oak, looking through the sheets of rain. Why doesn't anyone like me? I have no mate, and I'm not sure of who my family is. She was so lost in memories that she didn't notice she yowled out loud. "Why can't I have a mate, or family?!"

At that same moment, a rather fluffy she-cat made her way towards the fallen oak that marked the border between Thunderclan and Skyclan. Hearing the Thunderclan warrior whine quickly brought her over to see if the mousebrain was crossing the border, but it just turned out that she was just looking for attention, it seemed. "Maybe because you whine so much," Featherheart huffed, trotting towards the tree with her head high. She didn't feel like dealing with this cat, but she had to make sure that Coalheart didn't cross into Skyclan territory.

Coalheart turned her head, embarrassment burning the tips of her ears. "Sorry.." she muttered.

That kind of took Featherheart off-guard. Sorry? She said she was sorry? Wow. Featherheart knew that Thunderclan wasn't all that, but she didn't know they were that soft. That was almost kittypet soft. "So what are you doing here?" she snapped. If she wasn't going to get anything out of her, she wanted to at least keep her away from the border.

Coalheart buried her head in her paws. "Thinking.. having alone time.." she sighed.

The warrior just rolled her eyes. This was gross. Alone time? Complaining about not having a mate? Yeah, Thunderclan wasn't at all what she had seen in the battle. "Oh boohoo," she grumbled. "Take your alone time somewhere else. You're too close to the border."

Coalheart hissed, then turned her whole body over on the log so she wasn't facing Featherheart. "SkyClan has flaws, too! You let a rouge lead you in battle!" Another idea popped into her head. She turned around and grinned. "Surprise, surprise, kitty!" she hissed and launched herself at the cat. Before they collided, she slashed at her face.

Coalheart used Rear-up to Slash on Featherheart dealing 17 damage and using 15 stamina.

Flaws? What did Featherheart say about flaws? Yep. She made up her mind. This Thunderclan warrior was crazy. But that didn't matter now. Out of nowhere, she had been attacked. Letting out a yowl of pain and feeling the blood drip down her face just next to her right eye, Featherheart quickly turned back onto the warrior with claws unsheathed. Hackles raised, she leaped towards Coalheart without a second thought. "You want to be beaten again, fox-heart? I can gladly arrange that!" She hissed.

Featherheart used Front Paw Strike dealing 21 damage and using 10 stamina.

Coalheart hissed as claws raked over her. She caught her breath and reared on her, clawing her face wildly.

Coalheart used Leap-and-Hold on Featherheart dealing 16 damage and using 10 stamina.

OOC: once again, for the leap-and-hold move, you will need to use the dice. Do you know how to do that??

OOC: okay well then I can explain it real quick cx  In order to use this, you will actually have to click the "Post Reply" button at the bottom left or top left corners of the page. When looking at the first chart, it also has the special effect column. For a move such as Leap-and-Hold, it says this:
"Can't be hurt while using.
Damage inflicted each
turn move is in effect.
-Roll one "Effect Dice"-
1, 2, 3, works for one turn.
4, 5, 6, works for two turns."
This means that when replying to the topic (through the Post Reply), you post as normal with your attack, but you will have to add the dice to it which can be found underneath the Send button. It has its own box that should say "Dices Roll." In this box, you will see "Dices roll #1" and then a drop down menu. Since we got rid of the hunting system, the only dice you can choose is Effect Dice. Choose that. The number next to the word "Dice rolls" never needs to be touched. (If you cannot see the dices roll options and only see the words Dices Roll, to the very right, there should be a + sign. click that and everything should appear). Once you've done this, press send and it will redirect you to your post plus a post from Mistpelt underneath your own which gives you a random number from the dices roll. Let's just say that this number happened to be 3. Now that you have your number, you look back at the special effect column of the first chart in the battle system and follow its directions. For leap-and-hold, a 3 means that the move only works for one turn, so then you edit your post to fit the description. In the example below, the italicized words are what I edited back into my post after I saw the number from Mistpelt's post.

So, it will look like this (I am using your most recent post):

Coalheart used Leap-and-Hold on Featherheart dealing 16 damage and using 10 stamina. In effect for one turn.

Coalheart
HP: 39/60
SP: 175/200

Featherheart
HP: 47/80
SP: 230/240

Does this make sense?

OOC: okay good :D so I'll just continue from what I used in the example.

As soon as Coalheart latched onto Featherheart's back, she cried out from the pain, but the old warrior wasn't going to give up. This was just the beginning. She wasn't going to let this cat win. "You think you're so smart!" she hissed, rolling over to get Coalheart off of her.

Featherheart is stunned for 0 more turns.
