Badgerkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Without saying a word, Thrushstar leaped onto the Jaggedrock for another ceremony. He was glad that the clan was growing, but it was becoming hard to keep up with who had what ceremony at what time. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Badgerkit padded out of the nursery, fur all messy and dirty. What's going on? He thought. He sat down and waited for what was going to happen.

Looking down at the large kit, the Shadowclan leader was a little surprised that Badgerkit didn't try to clean himself up before this, but whatever. A ceremony was a ceremony. "Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice. Badgerkit from now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Badgerpaw and your mentor will be Finchfeather. May she teach you everything that she knows," he called out loudly before finishing the ceremony and leaping off of the rock.

Badgerkit was surprised and proud at the same time. Yes! Now I don't have to be stuck with the losers in the nursery anymore!
