SkyClan's Revenge [PLOT]

Swirledpaw noticed that Yellowpaw didn't have a partner, and padded up to him shyly. "Hey, want to be partners? I think almost everyone else already have partners." she asked.

In the mist of the SkyClan cats was Creamstorm. She was crouched down in the undergrowth, her eyes narrowed as her claws dug into the earth. Next to her was Ryefur; the RiverClan warrior she had been paired up with. She paused to glare at the tom, whose pelt was rather tidy. She had watched him cleaning it a few moments ago, and she just huffed. This wasn't a time to be worried about how you looked; they were going into battle. It was going to get messed up anyways.

Ryefur shifted from paw to paw as he stood next to Creamstorm. His brown pelt blended in with the undergrowth; but he was worried of thorns getting caught in it. He was rather proud of his looks, so he wasn't a big fan of the fact that they were going to fight with ThunderClan. But he did put his loyalty in front of his pride; if it was for RiverClan's sake, he would be happy to get his fur messy.

Cloverleaf shifted nervously now was the chance to show all the other clans how strong skyclan truly was! She lifted her head looking around for a partner she saw rockfall, "Rockfall! lets pair up together." She mewed padding next to him she slowly got some courage and was excited for this battle.

Rockfall nodded "Alright just stay by me cloverleaf and keep up with me." He mewed already dropping into a crouch and stalking off he slipped next Creamstorm and Ryefur his ear flicking backwards, He wanted to show how powerful skyclan was he narrowed his gaze watching for the leaders signal.

OOC: Alright, I'm bored. Let's get this started. ThunderClan, c'mon.

IC: "That's enough time," Reedstar mewed, sweeping his gaze over the amassed force. Littlelight and Cinderfur, huh? He grit his teeth and shook his head. Now's not the time to think about that. "Let's go!" With that, he whirled, and plunged into ThunderClan's undergrowth.

This place is terrible. Roots snaked along the ground, poised to trip him up, branches and tendrils of brambles grasped at him, snagging and catching on his fur. He pressed on, inexorable, ignoring the leaves and stalks that tugged at him. No wonder ThunderClan's so dark-hearted. You can't see the stars from down here. Reedstar looked up and grimaced. Patches of gray sky could be seen, shedding dapples of light onto the leaf-strewn ground but otherwise it was a ceiling of dark canopy. Birds cried in alarm as they moved past, taking flight in flurries of black and gray and blue feathers, and he could hear every snap of a twig, every rustle of a branch, every whisper of a leaf. We're being too loud. This territory protects itself. His frown deepened, and he let his hackles rise. But who cares about that. Let them find us.

Ic: With the leaders word Cloverleaf launched forward, the wind slowing her down and the thorns pulling at her pelt she hissed in annoyance, making a racket then being swift, quiet and sneaky. Untangling her self from the bramble bush she pushed forward leaving rockfall behind her heart racing she hasnt battled in along time she was worried that she might be a little bit rusty and weak, No she couldnt think like that. She had to show thunderclan she had loads of self confidence and was powerful like her clan, her paws thudding on the ground she dashed forward avoiding some obsticles.


Rockfall leaped forward leaping over a log and ducking under the branch this was the moment that skyclan will prove worthy! He muttered to himself pulling his fur from the thorns not letting that stop him. he scrambled over a log unseathing his long claws he ran through Thunderclans territory swiftly, He was excited for this battle he wanted to shred thunderclan. "Let them run off like fleeing prey!" He snarled doing a battle cry.

The white warrior grinned back at his friend. Surely this battle would be an assured victory, with two clans working together against just one. He watched other warriors; Skyclan cats, jump into tree branches with ease. He doubted many Riverclan cats felt jealous of this skill, as many other cats besides his own clan, often despised and were incompetent in the art of swimming. With the quick word of Reedstar, Ashcloud began to run along with the other warriors, staying side by side with Stormheart.

One of the last partnerless cats still searched, and he finally found another cat. 'What was her name? Spottedpaw? No, it was Swirledpaw. Yes. That was it.' Bounding off of his root, Maplepaw trotted towards the previously unpaired cat. "Swirledpaw!", he called out. "Want to be partners?" Suddenly, the Riverclan leader announced their leaving. Deciding it was a little too late for his almost-partner to refuse, he began to follow the others into battle, keeping by his denmate's side.

Streamfern took off through the undergrowth at Reedstar's orders, but quickly realized they were being entirely too loud. She took a second to leap into a tree, jumping skillfully from branch to branch. She glanced down at the other Skyclan cats, taking a moment to yowl somewhat quietly to tell them to get into the trees, where it was much quieter.

Swirledpaw turned from Yellowpaw, who hadn't responded, and saw Maplepaw padding up to her. "Sure, I guess." Following the Skyclan tom, she glanced overhead to see one of the Skyclan cats leaping from branch to branch nearly silently.

Morningbreeze saw Mistfeather ask Lillyclaw to be her partner also. She let it slide and decided to go on her own without a partner. On the sound of Reedstar's voice, Morningbreeze raced after the group of cats, dodging trees and bushes and slower cats. This is easy, she thought as the group ran deeper into Thunderclan's territory. Every once in a while, her fur would get snagged and slow her down a little, but she pushed on. "Thunderclan, here we come," she said as she un-sheathed her claws.

Creamstorm grinned as Reedstar dove into the undergrowth as she pulled herself to her paws. She glanced at Ryefur with a huff. "Try to stay close, will you?" she said with a smirk before she went racing after Reedstar; doing her best to dodge the undergrowth that could catch her paws.

"W-Wait up!" Ryefur blinked in surprise as he went racing after the SkyClan warrior, frowning as he tried to match her pawsteps, but he found himself almost tripping every few fox-lengths. Stupid undergrowth...He couldn't believe that ThunderClan called this home. He couldn't believe that they could move around in this. He felt branches and thorns tear at his pelt, which caused him to flinch. He just hoped that none would get stuck in his pelt; they would be troublesome to try to get out.

Otterpaw, at that point, still didn't have a partner - but that would've been okay, right? With their sheer numbers, they would've been enough to overwhelm ThunderClan anyways. He'd hardly thought that there was anything to worry about. And so, with that, the RiverClan apprentice when shooting off into the undergrowth after his leader, ready for whatever resistance the fox-hearts could manage to put up. Thanks to his short, sleek pelt, the brush didn't bother him or snag on his pelt too much.

Breezetail had been staring straight-ahead for the most part, before his excited apprentice began to seem a bit too excited for his own good. The warrior laughed under his breath."There's no time to practice your battle moves," He replied a bit teasingly, "You worked hard training all day yesterday as it is." Quailpaw would do fine in the fighting, he was sure. When Breezetail noticed the mob begin, he noticed that it was Reedstar who was beginning to lead them out. As much as he wished to follow, he had yet to see Silentstar or Silverstorm take a step. Even if several SkyClan warriors were leaving as it was, he wouldn't be moving an inch until one of his leaders did. That was loyalty, wasn't it?

The moment that Lilyclaw had begun to answer Morningbreeze about being her partner, her best friend had appeared at her other side, inquiring the same thing. "Oh, well... Uhm..." She struggled to find the right words to say to them in the slightly awkward situation. When she finally found her words, Morningbreeze had seemingly given up quickly, rushing after the others into battle, leaving the white she-cat to let out a small sigh of relief. She smiled at Mistfeather, "I don't." She mewed simply, standing up and starting to walk after the others. "Lets go show those ThunderClan mouse-brains what we're made of." Eagerly, after making sure the other she-cat was following, she broke into a run towards the enemy camp.

IC: Pricking her ears at the sound of a massive crashing through the woods, Spottedfeather quickly ran to camp. It had to be another clan, or maybe two. Riverclan was now against them, and Skyclan was too. Running into camp she yowled to her clan mates "Under attack in the woods!" After cats started to come closer, she continued. "Half the warriors take to the trees, with a few older apprentices. Jump down on cats near, or smaller than your size. The other warriors and apprentices, go on foot, and attack straight forward. I will lead the tree attack. Dewstar will lead the lower attack" Quickly bolting from camp, with her warriors and older apprentices, Spottedfeather jumped into nearest tree, then proceeded to jump tree to tree.

If needed, they could call upon Windclan to help, if there was two clans. If needed, she would even run the distance herself. She signaled her attack to a stop, hearing the crashing of the woods. She waited, looking for the beginning of the attack. She would attack any of the first cats, even a leader if needed.

The alarm call ripped Dewstar's attention from the squirrel she was eating by the Highrock. Intruders! Yes, she could hear it-- the faint but nearing sound of rustling underbrush and the yowls of cats. She stood to her full height, disregarding the carcass. "You heard her! Move! Emberpaw, use the trees to escape undetected and reach WindClan! We're going to need their help." She could already smell the mixture of scents on the wind. If she played her cards right, she could stop anyone from getting hurt. She stalked to the entrance of the camp, stopping to let her half of the Clan prepare themselves. "Get ready to fight dirty; rogues don't know how to play fair."

Swiftnose was napping peacefully alongside Rainspot when he heard it. The yowl wiped clean the drowsiness in his eyes and ran to Dewstar. "I won't be much help in the fight, I'm too old. I never really learned how to fight that well, either. But I promise you, if any of those cats break through into the camp, then you can bet I won't let them lay a claw on the kits!" Dewstar nodded to him and he charged off to the nursery, where he quickly explained what was happening and that he would be right there to guard them. He sat down in front of the narrow entrance, his ears pricked and swiveling to take in every sound.

A low growl emanated from Sunface's throat. "They'll pay for this!" She hissed, sitting by Dewstar. Where Addertail or her kits were, she didn't know. But she knew they could handle themselves. "I'll protect this Clan with my life, even if I wasn't born into it." She made direct eye contact with her leader when she said this, knowing that Dewstar was growing tired of accepting non-Clanborns into ThunderClan and that she didn't support SkyClan because of their rogue and loner blood. She was determined to prove her worth, even though she felt like she'd spent lifetimes with her Clans.

Robinstep charged after the rest of the large battle force, though she could barely get anywhere without bramble thorns pulling out large chunks of her fur and slowing her down. She was already panting heavily by the time she heard the enemy cats' yowls of anger and alarm. Her vision was clouding because of the lack of air, and eventually she was forced to pull behind all of the other cats and slow down to catch her breath.

Lionfang, however, was having no issues at all. In fact, he was so skilled at weaving through his old territory, his long pelt never caught on brambles and he even pulled closed to the front. He slowed down as to not takeover the lead, fearing that the leaders would be annoyed. He accidently left his partner behind because the only thing he could think about was the faces of his former Clanmates when they saw him charge in with teeth bared. He felt anxious and sick and fearful all at the same time, and it was a very unpleasant mixture in his stomach.

Shrewpaw nodded to Streampaw, glad he wouldn't be paired with a RiverClan cat. They could take ThunderClan on by themselves. The victory would mean nothing if RiverClan went and shoved their faces into it! He stuck right to Streampaw's side to avoid losing her, close enough to brush pelts every odd step. He had no thoughts going through his mind except that he had to protect his throat. The basic battle training he'd received echoed in his mind.
