Having Fun Killing Each Other*

Swirledpaw padded out of camp, not really caring if Sunfur was following or not. Finding an open, sandy spot neat the river, she waited impatiently for her mentor to arrive. If he didn't arrive in a few minutes maximum, she would just hunt as an excuse for being out.

With powerful strides, the large deputy followed his apprentice while quite enjoying her eagerness. Today was her battle training, and he knew quite well he was going to get a couple scratches. So, since she obviously wasn't waiting for him to tell her where they were going, he followed her to the river and just shook his head in amusement. Finally once she stopped he raised his eyes and asked, "Are you ready?" 

Not being able to contain her excitement any more, she leapt to her paws upon Sunfur's arrival. "You bet I am, Sunfur! Claws or no claws?" Leaping around in a rather immature, amusing manner, she smiled gleefully and finally managed to simply stand a respectful distance from the Riverclan deputy, awaiting a response. "Can I go first?"
