Falconstar jumped to the top of the Tallrock and called out to his clan, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

Cloverkit heard her leader's voice from the nursery. She trotted out and looked up at Falconstar. The she-cat wondered what this ceremony would end in, a new warrior or apprentice.

Ah, time for another kit to become an apprentice. It was always good for WindClan's growth. "Cloverkit, step forward. From now on you will be known as Cloverpaw. Adderfang will be your mentor."

Cloverkit stepped forward towards her leader. Dipping her head she nodded. She hid her excitement well and nodded once again as the tom told her who her mentor would be. "Thank you Falconstar" Cloverpaw stepped down and walked over to Adderfang.
