Fangkit's Debut

Fangkit watched as the warriors flushed out of the camp and into the forest to do their duties, almost glowering. All he wanted was to be a warrior, the strongest warrior in the forest, and serve his clan as he best he could. Though the young tom was large for his age, he still had three more moons to go before his apprentice ceremony and that seemed like much too long a time for him. He cast a slightly jealous look toward the apprentice's den. I could be out chasing mice right now, he thought bitterly to himself. Instead I'm stuck in here, with a ball of moss. He whacked said ball of moss in no particular direction, just to show it how worthless it was to him. He didn't even look to see where it ended up but instead cast his mismatched gaze around the camp for something more worthy.
