Ravenkit, Redkit, and Mistedkits' Apprentice Ceremony

Nightstar stood tall, to let her voice ring. Calling her clan out of their dens."Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here beneath the Jaggedrock for a clan meeting."

Redshade appeared to watch because he didn't have an apprentice yet oAo

Silverleaf padded out of the warriors' den. Maybe she would get an apprentice.

Mapleheart padded into camp, putting her prey onto the freshkill pile, she padded up to Jaggedrock.

Redkit leaped out of the nursery, and skidded to a stop just behind the cats already gathered.  She smoothed her fur, and waited excitedly for Nightstar to say something.  She was just positive it was her apprentice ceremony.

Lionstrike padded out behind Silverleaf and sat next to her, his tail curled around his paws. Probably an apprentice ceremony, he thought. I probably won't get one.

Snowfall padded out of her den. She still didnt have an apprentice and needed one. Her leader didn't give her one at the recent ceremony, but her apprentice got one. She was kinda upset, but looked up brightly at her leader, hoping, she would give her one today.

Mistedkit padded out of the nursery, fur well-groomed and ready to be an apprentice. Finally.

Ravenkit bounced out of the nursery after Mistedkit and Redkit, sitting down amongst the other kits. Her fur was well-groomed and her eyes shone brightly with excitement.

Once the group had gathered, Nightstar gazed over the crowd, picking out the mentors and the to-be apprentices. "Ravenkit, Redkit, and Mistedkit, please step forward."

Mistedkit grinned, padding forward to the forefront of the crowd of cats.

Redkit held her tail proudly as she made her way to the front of the Clan.

Ravenkit strode forward, standing with Mistedkit and Redkit, beaming as she tilted her head up towards Nightstar.

"Ravenkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Ravenpaw. Your mentor will be Redshade. I hope Redshade will pass down all he knows on to you."

Her ice colored eyes turned to the next apprentice. Redkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Redpaw. Your mentor will be Snowfall. I hope Snowfall will pass down all she knows on to you." Nightstar had been hesitant about giving Snowfall another apprentice, since of what went down last time. However, Nightar was willing to give the warrior one last chance to prove herself worth of teaching the clan's young.

She turned toward Mistedkit, then continued. "Mistedkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Mistedpaw. Your mentor will be Scorchclaw. I hope Scorchclaw will pass down all he knows on to you." The leader then leaped down, allowing the clan to disperse.

Mapleheart stared wide eyed at her brother. He got an apprentice, and she didn't? But, she never had one either. Plus, with his actions on the Thunderpath with Thunderclan, she wasn't sure she wanted a young mind be influenced by him. She sighed, but decided to got with Nightstars decisions.
