A sure fire way to survive Rust

I have concocted a sure fire way survive for a long time on Rust.

Step 1: Gather resources and food. You will need food cause this will be used for trade (Set some off for yourself).

Step 2: Build Build a shelter and have a crate where people can take some supplies you want to be friendly as that's key to survival.

Step 3: Gather others Friends strangers anyone who will follow you, there's safety in numbers.

step 4: establish laws You're building a civilization here so you might want to have laws especially if your city becomes a nation state (not the site.)

Step 5: Appoint leader someone has to be incharge and to keep everything in order.

Step 6: divide the labor and enjoy: Have people for hunting gathering and farming (If they put that in).
