[OPEN] So How Bout Them Warrior Names?

It was done! It was finally sunrise! Mousetail was finally done with her silent vigil through the night. As she finally stood up from her post at the entrance of the camp, she quickly stretched, yawning at the same time. She didn't even realize how tired she was until just now, even though it was hard not to fall asleep just sitting there all night. Moving around, she waited for the others to join her since they were done too. Heck, she just wanted to talk to anyone. That was the part that nearly killed her.

A young kit fumbled out of the nursery, stumbling into the cold, snowy dawn air. Wrenkit's nose twitched and her ears swiveled around, searching for scent and sound. She could vaguely smell Moustail, but the small fresh-kill pile seemed stronger. She padded over, then turned her head side to side. She seemed to be making sure no one had seen her, as if she wasn't allowed to take anything off the pile. Leaning forward, she quickly grabbed a sinewy mouse and started immediately backing up.

Dawnpaw padded out of the apprentice den with a yawn. She smiled when she saw the kit take the mouse so warily. She remembered when she was a kit... She had waited for so long to become a apprentice.. With a jolt, Dawnpaw remembered las nights warrior ceremony. Ignoring the kit, she raced toward mouse tail. " Mousep- er.. Mousetail, how was your vigil? How does it feel to be a warrior? Is it exciting?!" Dawnpaw excitedly asked.

Rookheart walked over to the newest warrior and dipped her head respectfully. Tawnypaw ran out of the apprentice den and slid to a stop beside Dawnpaw.

Flamegaze inhaled deeply as soon as the sunlight peeked into camp. He'd barely breathed all night to keep himself from breaking the silence. Hearing voices, he turned around and padded over, dipping his head to the two warriors. "Mornin' Mousetail, Rookheart," he mewed, plopping down. "And...er, Dawnpaw." he didn't know the apprentice well, but he was always up for making friends.

"Hello Flamegaze." Rookheart said. "Hi! I'm Tawnypaw!" Tawnypaw said excitedly. The calico apprentice looked at Flamegaze intently.

Mousetail glanced around at the apprentices, warriors, and the one kit that had all come out of the dens. Looking from one cat to another, she quickly tried to answer their questions. Looking at Dawnpaw, she couldn't help but get excited. "The vigil was so boring!! But I feel like a warrior! It's so amazing! I can't wait for you to be a warrior too, Dawnpaw! We'll be able to so many things together!" the only issue was that the apprentice was pretty much taller than Mousetail already, so it was a little weird looking up at her. But she then turned to Flamegaze. "Good morning! How did you think it went last night?"

" hopefully not too long! spottedfeather said i was doing a very good job!" Dawnpaw proudly announced . " it would be soooo fun to do hunting patrols together... i cant wait!" turning her body toward flamegaze, she meowed, " Hi flamegaze. congratulations on being a warrior!"

Flamegaze gave a disgruntled sigh at Mousetail's question. "Exhaustingly quiet," he mewed. When Dawnpaw congratulated him, he purred just a bit. "Thanks! Can't wait till I can say that to you!"
