Random Hunting Patrol

Goldenfeather padded into the apprentice's den. "Hey Leopardpaw, wanna come on a hunting patrol with me?"

Leopardpaw jumped up. "Sure!" she meowed, and bolted out of camp before Goldenfeather could react.

OOC: Hey leopard, how about we make it this topic that we discover darkie is missing? X) If possible, can you delete your other topic?

"Hey! Wait for me!" The lush, green undergrowth felt good under her paws after the hard, cold ground in leafbare.

Leopardpaw stopped after running for a while, waiting for Goldenfeather.

Goldenfeather caught up to Leopardpaw, panting. Then she scented vole. "Wait here..." She whispered. She crept up to a twitching leaf, careful not to make a single noise. When she was close enough, she pounced, and killed the vole with a swift bite to the neck. Then she buried it under an oak tree and went back to Leopardpaw's side. "I'll come back for it later." She said. "So now what?"

OOC: Maybe now would be a good time to bring up the topic of darkie missing.. X)

"Um...Darky's been missing. "Leopardpaw said. "Do you think we could search for her?"

"Really?" Goldenfeather realized that she hadn't payed much attention to her sister since their last argument. "Hey look! I think I've found her scent trail over here!" She started following the trail in hopes of finding Darkshadow.

Leopardpaw bounded after Goldenfeather.

Goldenfeather hadn't paid attention to where they were going until she smelled the faint scent of the thunderpath drifting from the bushes ahead. No way... She thought.

Leopardpaw stopped dead at the border. "It leads that way..."

Goldenfeather suddenly felt the ground sway beneath her paws. She hadn't know that Darkshadow was this mad at her... "Wait here..." She told Leopardpaw. She then darted across the Thunderpath, wanting to make sure that her sister was at least safe. Across the border, Darkshadow's scent mingled with several other Shadowclan cats' scents. Jaybird... and Ashpaw... and... Her heart felt hollow. She had lost her only littermate. She ran back over the Thunderpath, coming to a halt next to Leopardpaw. "She's gone..." She whispered. May Starclan watch over her...

Without another word, or approval from her mentor, Leopardpaw charged over the Thunderpath and dissapeared into Shadowclan territory.

"NO! LEOPARDPAW COME BACK!" Goldenfeather bolted after her apprentice.
