Medicine Cat Meeting 01/24/2014

(Too lazy to add a description...It's leafbare. It's cold as hell. There's a lot of snow. It's a half moon. You know the drill.)

Swiftnose trotted comfortable through the snow. His fur wasn't very thick, but he had kept up a steady pace and had generated his own heat on the way. He thought about Hailstorm and Mallowroot and grinned a silly grin, thinking they'd be proud to know he had an apprentice- his very own apprentice! -at such a young age.

Nightpaw kept pace with Swiftnose, his legs still stiff. He knew that there would always be the stiffness, because his legs would never be normal again, nor his tail. But he forced himself through it, trying to trot and walk as normal as possible. He wondered how the other medicine cats would look at him. They would see his missing tail and slightly off gait, and what would they think? Would they think he didn't really care for herbs and being a medicine cat? More doubt wondered through his mind as he blindly followed his mentor.
