Foxpaw's assessment

Bluesky stood by the fresh-kill pile, waiting for Foxpaw to return so she could give him his instuctions.

foxpaw padded up to bluesky

"Foxpaw, I want you to catch all you can; before sunset, that is. And remember, I will be watching you."

foxpaw nodded and headed to the river at a quick pace. he quickly spotted a movment in the water, and her swiped his paw into the water, catching a fish. the next time he tried and was unsuccessful. he neatly dove into the water a came up with a large fish in his mouth.

Very good. She thought; I wonder why he's not a warrior yet?

foxpaw continued to catch as as much prey as he could untill sunset. he caught manny fish, and two water voles, also he caught a sparrow. he returned to camp to see how he did

Bluesky looked up to see that the sun was well on it's way down to the horizon. She turned back, silently following Foxpaw.

foxpaw waited in the camp for bluesky

"You did well." Came the melodic voice who he knew very well from behind him.

"th-thanks bluesky" he showed bluesky all he had caught

"I know what you caught, mousebrain." She nuzzled him. "I was watching you the WHOLE time!"

"oh yeahh"
