Snowpaw and Goldpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" The familiar call rang throughout the camp. The clearing had been a bustle of life and energy despite the freezing temperatures and lack of prey. ThunderClan had certainly been blesse by StarClan as of late, and it brought a feeling of confidence and strength to Dewstar.

Spottedfeather padded beneath the Highrock and waited for the soon to be warriors to arrive. Yet another of her apprentices were becoming a warrior. It passed by so fast. After this, she will only have two apprentices. But she was fine with that, she was also used to having many apprentices now. She licked a stray fur from Goldpaw's head. "You have done great! You will be a great warrior."

Snowpaw purred with joy as she sat under the high rock, her fur groomed better than it ever was before.

Dewstar watched the cats slowly start to gather and began. "Snowpaw, Goldpaw, please step forward."

Goldpaw broke away from Spottedfeather and padded towards high rock, Ready to become a warrior.

Dewstar began with the moons-old words. "I, Dewstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Goldpaw, Snowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your lives?"

"I do!" Snowpaw said, her usual smirk replaced by a real happy smile.

Goldpaw thought over the words of his leader could he do it? Goldpaw saw himself as a kit trying to act like a warrior but is there more to life? "I do." Goldpaw said.

OCC: Goldfang

She jumped down from the Highrock, landing in front of Goldpaw. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names. Goldpaw, from this moment you will be known as Goldfang. StarClan honors your intelligence and caution." The gray she-cat rested her muzzle on Goldfang's head and then turned to Snowpaw.  "Snowpaw, from this moment you will be known as Snowface. StarClan honors your courage as well as your strength." As she did with Goldfang, Dewstar rested her muzzle briefly on Snowface's head and then stepped back. It was good to know that ThunderClan was growing.

"Goldfang! Snowface!" Spottedfeather cheered to her old apprentice, now finally a warrior.

Goldfang relished his fellow clan mates yowls "Snowface!" He yowled with the rest of his clan.
