"Well, I'm sure she'll get here on time. I'll go start the ceremony." She meowed, getting up and padding to the center of the clearing. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather in the clearing for a Clan meeting." She called to the camp.

featherpaw padded closely behind mistpelt when she got to the clearing,she stared at mistpelt
and the blustering sun behind her.her eyes became tiny black slits surronded by a deep icy blue pool

"Sorry, but it must be done here." Mistpelt told her before starting. "We are gathered here today to make this kit an apprentice." She looked at Featherpaw. "Step forward."

I'm right here! she mewed, as she made her way through the crowd of cats her pelt shimmering as she hurried up to Mistpelt.
Sorry i'm late, she stammered but my mother Riverwind just can't get over the reason i'm going to be an apprentice and you see that she cleaned me head to tail, she sighed...

"From this moment on, untill she has earned her warrior name, this apprentice shall be known as Bluepaw. I will mentor her untill she has done so." She walked up to Bluepaw and touched noses with her.

in reply, Bluepaw licked both of mistpelt's shoulders. The other cats' were singing out her name while her mother Riverwind sat proudly outside with tears behind her eyes, last one out of the nursury, the tabby she-cat murmured.
