Reedheart got into a crouch, flattened his ears, and hissed. "Sandpaw, Leafpaw, you better get back." he mewed in a hushed voice. The fox stepped forward and bushed it's tail out, a growl rumbling in its throat before yapping loudly at the patrol. The warrior suddenly moved forward, gracefully and quietly as Froststar had taught him, and leaped out with his claws outstretched. Reedheart and the fox both went down in a tumble of claws and teeth, yowling and barking.

Reedheart used Jumping Strike, dealing 23 damage and using up 20 stamina.

Following the tom's lead and shaking off a lingering fear of the creature, Nightbird jumped into battle. Rearing up on her hind legs, she slashed at the fox's face with strong black paws. At a time other than now, she would have critisized herself for leaving her stomach so vulnerable, but that was not a thought one should think at a time like this.

Nightbird used Upright Front Paws, dealing 23 Damage and costing 20 Stamina.
