Well, this morning, I showed a few users a pixel I made on the Chatbox. Apparently it was cool, so I thought maybe a few people might want to request one. Note that it'll take awhile because of my process. I'm also just sort of getting used to pixelating and the fact that I'm using a mouse to do this is more difficult.
Reason that it'll take long:
1. I sketch the drawing traditionally with pencil on a 8" x 11" paper.
2. Then I touch it up and add features.
3. Afterwards, I take my family iPhone and take a picture of the drawing as best as I can.
4. I send the picture to my email in a "small" file size which is about 20 - 30 KB.
5. Opening my email, I save the image and opened it up in MS Paint.
6. Using the tools given to me, I use a white color for the lineart.
7. I then invert the colors to make the lineart black.
8. Clearing the background color that came with the picture, I continue like this until only the lineart remains.
9. Next, I fill in the background with a color that doesn't appear in the image - same with the inside of the lineart.
10. Creating 8 shades of different colors for the fur, about 6 - 8 shades for the markings, and about 4 - 6 shades for the eyes, I start with the lightest shade.
11. I continue shading to make a gradient sort of shading to make it seem to have higher quality.
12. Finally, I open the file on GIMP to make it transparent before uploading it.
Long process... It takes me awhile to figure out where to shade and to finish step 8.
Are you interested in having one?
